“This is where I would stay again and again!”

My husband and I stayed at the Inn at Harbor Steps one night before we set sail on our honeymoon cruise to Alaska. Everyone was super nice! Our room was upgraded to the King Spa Suite. The breakfast was amazing! We really enjoyed all the amenities, and customer service. It was a great location. We walked everywhere. I would highly recommend this hotel!

“Excellent Boutique Hotel”

Inn at Harbor Steps was a great place to stay in Seattle. It was centrally located to so many of the things to do in Seattle. The staff was outstanding. Before I left home, I received a phone call from the Concierge asking if there was anything that they could organize for me while I was visiting in Seattle. The breakfasts were quite impressive with homemade items each morning. It was always nice to start the morning with a nice hearty breakfast. And in the afternoon the wine/tea event for the guests in the Library was equally impressive with some type of homemade specialty food in addition to the cheeses/veggies, etc....My friend and I met so many nice people at the breakfast in the morning and the afternoon wine in the Library. After a few days there we really got to know the other guests. It was more like staying at a friends home rather than a Hotel. Lastly, the view from our little balcony was so nice. We could see the Harbor Steps below with the cascading water on them with people enjoying the sun. Interesting to watch...plus we could also see the Ferries come back/forth from the islands. I would highly recommend this Hotel.

“This is a great place to stay in down town Seattle!”

Everything about our stay was great. Location is great for downtown shopping and eats. The only draw back was the signage. Hard to find at first.

“Great find in a big city!”

Not typical hotel room; more like a small apartment. Close to downtown attractions. We walked every where. Wonderful service and very quiet. The full complimentary breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese were additional unexpected amenities. Would definitely stay again.

“Great hotel in a fantastic location”

We loved our stay here. It was an interesting set up, with the hotel located below residential apartments. Our room was lovely, it had a homely feel with books on shelves and a stuffed bear on the bed! We had a view into a grassy courtyard, and it was so quiet. The breakfast was fabulous, lovely cereals (not the usual sugary ones you can get with included breakfasts in hotels) and freshly cooked hot food, prepared by the chef right there in the room. We also loved the wine and cheese in the library in the afternoon, and the yummy cakes that went with them. The hotel is very centrally located, about 5 minutes walk to Pike Markets, and buses right at the door. Would definitely stay here again!

“Perfect romantic getaway”

This is the perfect hotel for a romantic getaway. It is built onto a pier, so it is literally over the water. The view rooms (the higher the room number, the more unobstructed the view) are amazing. I loved watching the ferries go by. The restaurant and club were great too. The only drawback is they need to update the furniture (the tv console is shabby, not chabby chic--and the bedspread is not fresh and new). The bathrooms have slate and fabulous soaking tubs, with a sliding wall by the tub so you can soak and watch the water (and the tv). The hotel is a little inconvenient to City Center and downtown, but they offer a free shuttle, which is lovely and the driver is very friendly and knowledgeable. OK--one other pet peeve--no free internet. That makes my husband crazy.

“Super sevice, many added delights.”

Super service, for instance we arrived 4 hours before check-in time and just asked if we could store our luggage there till check-in, but the room was ready so they let us have it early. The front desk was very helpful with local maps and other information. We paid for one night of parking but they let us keep our car there as long as we wanted the next day after check out while we continued to sight-see. Underground parking ($20) was convenient and safe. The deluxe queen room was attractive, romantic and had several little corners partially walled off so that it felt like a tiny apartment instead of just a room. We loved the gas fireplace, and French doors that opened onto a little garden. The breakfast buffet was well done with hot & cold cereal with many toppings, fruit, toast, great muffins, coffee cake, poached eggs in a cheese sauce, quiche, coffee, tea, and four kinds of fruit juice. The afternoon free wine with snacks was also very good with crackers, a fancy blue cheese spread, wedges of Gouda, and pasta salad. We were surprised to find that there is also a lovely library, an indoor swimming pool, and exercise area. Overall, I wouldn't mind living there!

“3 Days in Seattle”

This hotel was everything we needed as we came with a one year old. The only bad things I can say are that our room did not have a phone for whatever reason and we did not get a paper one morning. Other than that things were great!

“Overnight Stay”

This was just a quick overnight stay. The hotel was in the perfect location for me, just 1 block from the University Light Rail stop. I did have a hard time spotting the hotel as it is just a few rooms in an apartment building, so you need to look for the Apartments at Harbour Steps instead of the Inn at Harbour Steps. Even though the weateher was cool outside, the room was kind of stuffy and I never really did get it cool, but it wasn't too bad and the room was really quite nice. Breakfast was also good.
