“Great hotel! We would definitely stay here again!”

This hotel is right off the freeway so it's location was extremely convenient for our travels back and forth to all the different cities we needed to visit. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable; I was very surprised that I was able to fall asleep fairly fast every night, which is not usually the case when I am staying in any hotel. The complimentary breakfast was better than expected with cereal, a waffle machine with fresh batter so you could make your own waffles, egg & cheese small souffles, orange & apple juice, and plenty of bagels and cream cheese. There is a Denny's right across the street, but my mother and I fell in love with the restaurant down the street called "Mitzels." The food was FABULOUS and we ate there several times. Another plus of staying at this hotel is that Denny's and Mitzels gave us a discount off our food bill each time we showed them our hotel key. We would definitely stay here again.

“Great value in Kent HoJo”

The Kent Howard Johnson had a great breakfast, clean room, awesome pool and even a jacuzzi. I was a bit disappointed with the exercise room as it was just a treadmill, bike and sub-par precor machine in a small hotel room. The sauna room was great tho, and overall I was very impressed with the hotel overall. This hotel was very cheap in the package I booked and I would recommend it without hesitation b/c of the clean room and exceptional service of all the staff.

Our mini vacation in Seattle was a wonderful experience, and Howard Johnson Inn Kent and the excellent staff played a major role. It started with excellent directions to the hotel from the airport, a quick pleasant check-in with a well-spoken host who was able to answer our questions about the locale without hesitation and without error, and opening the door to find our room clean, comfortable, and properly stocked. After the long plane ride, we were grateful to find everything we needed for a hot shower followed by a restful sleep. Each morning, we received a friendly greeting as we enjoyed a simple, but good breakfast and hot coffee. Every evening, we came back to find our room just as inviting as the first night. When we needed an extra pillow, a very thoughtful receptionist brought it to the room herself, with a smile. The housecleaning crew were smiling and pleasant as they did excellent work, and were also an excellent resource for local information. One receptionist said she would be happy to help us with our online flight checkin the day before departure. Although she was not working when we approached the front desk, the young lady on duty was just a happy to help out. Check out was as easy as checking in. We plan on spending more time in the Seattle area; there is so much more to see and do. When we do, we plan stay again with the gracious staff at Howard Johnson Inn Kent.

The check in was late but no problems. When we got to our room, it was clean and comfortable. In the morning, breakfast was good, not great but good. It was all that we expected. And the price was good too.
