“Aussie Recommendation”

I gave up waiting for the breakfast room to be opened when 10 minutes had passed the opening time. The only breakfast we had at the hotel (5 Sept) took 45 minutes for cereal and toast to be served. it was quicker and cheaper across the road at the small cafe. Although the rooms were modern, they were cramped. However, we enjoyed our stay.

“Wait until the new owners get a handle on things.”

No longer a Ramada Inn, this hotel is now simply called Hotel 5. It was undergoing many changes when we visited. Without advanced notice to those just checking in, the water was turned off for 3 hours just when we needed to take a shower. It has potential, but at the moment it is only potential.

“Just ok”

This was a good location. Hotel and rooms were ok. I selected them based on a good price.

“Social Security Hearing”

Room was adjacent to hearing at the Federal building where I had a hearing scheduled and was very convenient.. Rooms were very eclectic and upbeat in decor and road noise was zero. Parking garage was a little scary and not very secure - could be significantly improved upon - a lot of corners and dark areas where people could hide. Also the parking garage was used for storage and was unsightly. Room - remote didn't work. Asked for extension cord (often needed for those with medical CPAP machines) and didn't have one on site - major zero here. No one to assist you with your luggage - you had to haul it all up to your room. No luggage rests in the room, yet there were tons of them sitting in the garage, so no place to put suitcase. Beds VERY COMFORTABLE AS WELL AS SHEETS - HIGH QUALITY LINEN! Excellent view of the Space Needle. All-in-all, if you have business or pleasure in the outskirts of downtown, or don't mind walking a little ways to downtown - go for Hotel 5, but Hotel 5, please make the corrections noted - they are very very minor in nature....

“will choose another hotel”

The hotel staff were not friendly at all. They did not show hostability to welcome guests. No restaurants/cafe shops surrounds this hotel. I had to walk in 15 minutes to find shops/restaurants.

“Lipstick on a pig.”

Only stay in this hotel if you don't mind noise and lots of it. The hotel is a refurbished old cinder block building, but they did not replace the windows, so while the furniture is nice, there is very loud traffic noise -- particularly because the hotel is on main bus routes. Also, the walls are very thin and you can hear conversations and other sounds from all the neighboring rooms. The room was also only partially clean -- hairs and dirty areas on the bathroom floor. The lights were dim, so it was hard to see, but when you could see the dirt, you saw it.

“Would NEVER Go Back”

The one good thing about this hotel was its great location--everything was within walking distance! However, it left a lot to be desired. Upon check-in, we were told that the plumbing in our room was causing problems, so we were moved into a handicap room which smelled of sewage. When we were finally moved into our regular room, we realized the plumbing was an issue throughout the entire hotel--hot water was hard to come by unless you had 30 extra minutes in the morning to wait for the water to heat up. The cable went out multiple times (probably because they were doing loud construction on the fourth and fifth floors), and each day, despite our requests to reuse our towels, they replaced them with one clean one. One single towel...no handtowel, no washcloths. It wouldn't usually be a big deal to call down to the front and have more towels sent up, but when we had to do this every day, it got a little irritating. Overall, I have never been more dissatisfied with a hotel. My recommendation would be to shell out a little more money and stay at a better, higher quality hotel down the street.
