“Would highly recommend”
Great location...friendly staff....fabulous view. Hotel has comfy beds and very large rooms that have been recently renovated.
“Friendly service, clean rooms, convenient location”
The people at BW Western were very friendly, helpful and courteous. I rate them very highly. The rooms (I stayed in two different rooms as I had a break of a few days between stays) were very clean and comfortable. I liked that the hotel had a wireless hub in the lobby and enjoyed the convenience of the continental breakfast. I will definitely return to this hotel in the near future.
“Great location--”
The hotel was easy to find and convenient to I-5. We were in town for a Mariner's game etc. In the past, we've spent hours with traffic issues, this trip we were 20 minutes away. It's a nice district with shopping and restaurants nearby.
“Very Impressive”
It's very clean and comfortable. The service was superb.
“excellent spot for all occasions”
I had particular needs that evening and the hotel staff were very helpful and flexible to meet the needs of myself and my daughter. thank you!
“Great hotel in the U-District”
The hotel has beautiful decor and the rooms are very modern and stylish. The rooms also have a built-in charm with glimpses of how the hotel used to look. The views are great! The also have a wonderful work-out room!
“More than what I expected”
Hotel was renovated and they did a superb job. Our room was very clean and the furniture looked brand new. We love having free continental breakfast, morning paper, free parking and even free RT van ride to downtown Seattle. The location was very convenient to highway 5 so it was a hop, skip and a jump to anywhere you needed to go. We also enjoyed being close to the University of Washington where we were able to take walks around the campus. If you have a rental car, there is a gas station a block away for easy fill up before returning the car to the airport. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. On our last night, we asked for a room with a view of downtown and since it was available, they gave it to us with no questions asked or price increase. And the room was just as nice as the first. The only negative thing I can think of is the down comforter was a bit on the thin side. I would have preferred a thicker brand, but they have an extra one in the closet if you need it. Overall, we enjoyed this hotel very much and would go back the next time we visit.
“Seattle's Best”
This is the best boutique hotel we've been to. Rooms are smaller because its an older building but they well make up for it in design. EVERY staff member we met had customer service skills over the top!!
“Terrific value, lovely hotel, helpful staff.”
Lovely hotel. Nicely decorated with great lobby. Very helpful front desk staff. While the room was smallish it was well laid out and very comfortable. Strong recommendation to others to visit.
“Great Location Nice room”
Great location, free parking, friendly helpful staff, beautiful decor, nice coffee shop inside, great lounge downstairs, competively priced. Room was beautiful, comfortable, bathroom sink was HUGE and I loved it. I would have liked a little coffee pot in the room but went downstairs for a latte. Could have used a few more outlets for charging cell phones and lap tops, just had to unplug a few lamps to accommodate at night. There was no fan in the bathroom, which is always nice for air circulation and shower steam. Heard a faint cry from a newborn baby. Had a little trouble with water in the shower. Scalding!! Also hard to adjust pressure and temperature. Faucets in the tub turned both left and right, with no real turn off positiion, but I managed. Nothing too bad to not come again. I can live with the shower as it is, and unplug a lamp here and there, and open the door in the bathroom to let out steam just for the location and comfort of the place.
