“Not a bad stay-not a great stay”

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was so-so. Our room was comfortable but the closet doors were jammed and the toilet wasn't especially clean. There wasn't a coffee pot and I had to ask for dishwasher soap. And the phone in the bedroom didn't work. Not major problems, but a bit annoying.

Area recommendations

Downtown Seattle is awesome. Its funky and fun...quite clean and lots to do.

“World's Best Receptionist”

While we had a hard time finding the hotel, the 1-800 number made it easy to contact them and get explicit directions from our location. Once there, the wonderful receptionist informed us that there was complimentary dinner and drinks for another 5 minutes, and helped us devise a game plan so we could park the cars and get dinner and drinks before they stopped serving. She also helped us find some great places within walking distance to explore the night life in the area. The room itself blew our minds with a full fidge, partial stove, two bedrooms, pull out sofa bed, etc. The room was bigger than some apartments I've seen, the staff were wonderful and the complimentary dinner and breakfast were delightful. (I've been in hotels where the complimentary breakfast is just toast and a sweet mini muffin. Homewood Suites offered scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, fruit salad, grapefruit, English muffins, whole wheat and white toast, bagels, and carrot muffins. They also served two types of juice, and coffee.) The staff totally made our night. I would stay here again any time!

“Will Return”

This was our second visit to this hotel. Very nice to have the full size fridge and microwave to heat up those yummy leftovers in Seattle. Close to Space Needle. 20 minute walk to Pike Place Market. 30 min to the REI mothership. Good breakfast. Laundry room in an odd location; hard to find on the first try.

Area recommendations

The Seattle Center/Belltown area is packed with great restaurants. A meal at the Space Needle is pricey, but well worth the $$$ on a clear day.

“good value in Seattle”

We stayed with 3 adults and 2 children. The suite had so much room and the food (both breakfast and dinner) offered was great. It's a fairly easy walk to many of Seattle's attractions. Would definitely think about staying there again.

“Great Value For the Price”

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a King suite which had 2 TVs, large refrigerator, stove burners, microwave, and dishwasher. We comfortably fit 2 adults and 3 kids. We had them bring up one cot which was no problem. Breakfast was really good.I am gluten free and there was plenty, (eggs, meat, fruit, potatoes, & yogurt plus everything else for regular diets). We don't have dogs but enjoyed seeing the visiting ones come through. I had looked at the reviews before we booked and found that we didn't have any of the few issues that were talked about. It is on the quiet part of town, which I prefer, and there is parking costs no matter where you are downtown. We will definitley come back and visit here again!

We bought the Seattle Pass and did it all. I recommend it hightly for first time visitors. We already have a new list of things to do for next time.

“Perfect for family getaway”

Convenient location in quiet neighborhood. Close to seattle center (but a short uphill walk). Nearby markets and pub very convenient. 20 minute walk to piers and waterfrong activities. Room was clean and up to date. Breakfast was good and very convenient. Only drawback was the street noise. Our room faced the street. Fortunately we had a sound machine that drowned that out. Great for visit with kids. Spacious and separate room gives mom and dad soem privacy. Short drive to downtown and pike's market and more restaurants.

“Will return to this hotel”

We were surprised to find this hotel at this price so close to downtown Seattle. We were attending our son's wedding in downtown Seattle and wanted to avoid the high prices of that area without a long commute back and forth to the events. This hotel filled that requirement nicely and the price was very reasonable considering it was a suite and the quality of the free breakfast. Althought there were literally no attractions around the hotel, we were no more that 15 minutes from the downtown wedding site. We will definately return to this Hotel but will ask for 2nd story or higher. The 1st floor is convenient but sub street windows weren't the best.

Area recommendations

I would not recommend Seattle as a destination. We only visit when absolutely necessary due to horrible traffic congestion, rude bicyclists, limited high priced parking, and high add-on fees for everything especially restaurants and hotels.
