“Never Again - Rude Staff”

Staff was very rude. Left front desk unoccupied and didn't have our room ready for check in. We missed dinner reservations and had to grab dinner on the go before baseball game. Then it took 30 minutes to check out because no one was at the front desk. NEVER AGAIN!

“Probably won't go back”

The room was overpriced. There was smell of rotten carpet near to the airconditioner. It was probably due to leaking from the A/C. The utencils in the kitchen were not clean and the refrigerator was not cold enough. We also found some stains on the carpet. Since we only stayed for one night, the problems mentioned above were not too big concern. If you have more money, I recommend you to stay other higher class hotels nearby. The only advantage of this place is that it is close to the shopping center.

Area recommendations

Museum of Flight. It is a must for family with kids and enthusiasts of aircraft or spacecraft.

“Homestead is for the value conscious traveller”

The homestead in SouthCenter is an ok motel. It's not fancy by any means but if you are looking for something fairly clean and very affordable with laundry services, free parking and wireless internet for $5/week, it's a room to sleep in. The rooms do have a kitchenette with a fridge, range top and a microwave which can be nice for travellers that are sick of eating out or on a budget. Don't look to 'work out' here as there is no gym. It's close to major highways and a large mall and many restaurants.

Area recommendations

The Southcenter area is fine but its not where you want to be if you want to be in Seattle. This was convenient based on a work assignment.

“Not impresseed”

Just felt it was kind of a low quality, low maintenance place. Would not recomend it except for the location which is basically what I picked.

“Smelly Hotel in Southcenter”

We were extremely disappointed in this hotel. It smelled like mold and body odor when we entered the room. The bathroom smelled like urine and the shower curtain needed to be washed and sanitized. We think this was extremely over priced for the quality and cleanliness of this room... Also they did not offer Continental breakfast nor did they have toiletries available for use. Very very disappointing!!!

“Good budget hotel”

Relatively inexpensive hotel. While very no-frills, it was clean, quiet, and convenient, allowing late check-in. My only complains are that the bed was overly stiff and they charged for Internet access.

“weekend get away”

The hotel was great, clean inside and out. The parking lot was safe and well lite. My car was in a well lite parking lot. The only issue i had was i wanted a king size bed. And had to pay extra for the upgrade. Other than that it was above my expectations.
