“A very good value”

The hotel is new and clean. The room was more than adequate. The staff was very nice and accomodating. The neighborhood is very commercial but that was of no consequence. It is safe and convenient to the area I visited.

“Nice, clean location with friendly staff”

Very clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. The complementary breakfast was very good with a nice open space to enjoy the food. The walls are a bit thin, and we could hear other guests moving around and street noise from the busy arterial next to the hotel.

“Good Hotel for it's cost”

They must do better for breakfast. They had a lots of variety but not fresh. Cereal had perfumed smell. Bread smell liked it was few weeks old.

“Great location, good hotel for the price.”

Check in was smooth. Room was fine, pillows were above average. View from my room included the Space Needle - BONUS! The neighborhood is a bit gritty, and the food around is great. Nearby Pho, Mexican food, and burgers. Didn't catch the free breakfast but the dining room looked spiffy. I'll stay here again, and recommend it to my friends passing through on Aurora.

Area recommendations

Northgate has a nice mall for shopping, and the bigger stores for bigger stuff. Ballard has all the great food and dive bars.

“A good time was had by all”

The desk people were very professional and helpful - Derek The pool was fun. The cleaning crew was patient and professional The gift bags were a hit. We used the balls in the pool. The breakfast was good and the wait staff was helpful. Great pancakes! My one comment for all hotels with pools - why is there no place to hang wet swimsuits? Thanks

“would recommend”

We would definitely recommend this hotel - the staff are very friendly, especially those serving breakfast, and they all were eager to be helpful. The breakfast offerings are great, with a lot of variety. We stayed a full week and had no complaints other than the mattresses were a bit too hard for our liking.

“A reasonable stay and very reasonable price”

The overall hotel experience was just fine. I wasn't crazy about all the breakfast items or the breakfast ambience, but there were sufficient alternatives to make this still a good deal. Staff were especially helpful. Condiditon of the hotel was fine. Location was convenvient - while not scenic, it also felt comparatively safe. I'll probably stay here again.

“Northgate's best.”

We were very pleased with this hotel. We were in town for the UW graduation. We did find out that every hotel raises their prices for this event. The hotel was completely full. Would gladly stay there again.
