“Nice but not the best value in the area, I think”
First, I paid for a 2 Queen Evolution Room. According to the description, it has a separate "sitting area" - it does not, unless you consider the standard armchair (and footstool) a separate sitting area. Otherwise, I would say it was a standard two queen room. I thought it offered something extra so paid more than I would have otherwise. Now looking at the photos, it looks like a standard 2 bed room. I could have stayed in a similar hotel, in the same area (essentially the same parking lot) for 30% less but oh well. The room was nice, the staff was friendly and accommodating. I wish the bar was open later. I wish room service was available past 9:00. I wish the pool was open past 10:00. We arrived late (about 10:30) - I would have enjoyed a glass of wine at the bar (had it been open) and/or a quick swim. As for the in hotel restaraunt, I found it a little less than desirable. In the future, I would likely eat breakfast off the premises. There was no menu. It was sort of a cross between a buffet and restaurant staff. The waiter brought a piece of paper to the table which had check boxes for what you wanted to order.... weird. Not what I would expect in a Hilton hotel. The food was okay but far from blowing me away. I would stay there again if I could get a rate that was in the $100 range, which is about what I believe other comparable hotels in the area offered. Oh, one reviewer suggested odd room numbers to avoid the noise. Great advise! The hotel is adjacent to the freeway!
“Great!”
Very clean and comfortable rooms. This is a great hotel for business travelers and I am sure families would enjoy the hotel as well. There is not a great restaurant in the hotel, but we were happy to find Outback and Bonefish within a short walking distance.
