“Very Good”

Very Good Hotel With Lots of Services in the Area

“Good budget choice if you have a car”

The pool is kinda small, personnel friendly and helpful. This hotel is business travel oriented, seems like. Good breakfast, didn't have omelet, but there were sandwiches with egg, beacon etc and really good selection of berries, bruit, yogurt, not to mention fresh made waffles. There is nothing to do near the hotel. You need a car. Seattle downtown is 15 min in light traffic. Airport is about 30-50 min depending on traffic. Nice park nearby, worth spending up to half a day at ( it's called anti-aircraft battery park or smth like that )

Area recommendations

Discovery park is a must. You feel lonely and at peace there, hard to believe that a big city is nearby. The views of the waterway are breathtaking. Seattle Aquarium is very well worth visiting. Not many fish there, but they have sea otters, and those alone are worth the price of the ticket. Young and old get stuck watching those play in water. The Space Needle is another must-see place. Cool history facts - I didn't realize it was build in 1962. Puts in perspective the skyscrapers in China from which we were returning. Finally, we visited the chocolate store. Not cheap, but very exotic. I bought two chocolate cigars, that freaked out the TSA on the screening. They had an idea I"m trying to smuggle real ones. That was hilarious. Dine one time at least on the pier 66. Nice views of the harbor. And of course, the market street, but everyone goes there anyway. Good small eateries.

“Service was Fine, but Bed Bugs”

The front desk, housekeeping staff and breakfast staff were very good. The room was a decent size, but my husband commented that all night he felt bugs in the bed. This led me to believe that there were bed bugs in our room or bed. This was not great and when he told me in the morning, we had breakfast already and were packing up to checkout. I couldn't wait to get out of the room and told my son and husband to not sit on the bed after that. The hotel was fine in regards to location to Seattle downtown and Bellevue shopping. The breakfast area was super busy and we had to wait for a few moments for a table to come available. The staff are run off their feet and considering the breakfast is included with the hotel price, guest should take their breakfast dishes to the bin. Most guests were good about this, but some just left their dirty dishes and containers on the table after eating. We stay in the Bellevue area about once a month for weekend trips in the area or to Seattle. We have tried a number of hotels and there are many to choose from. I probably won't stay at this one again, only because of the bed bugs. The only other issue, which wasn't a biggie, our room still had an old 27 inch tube tv. We noticed the room next to us was being cleaned and it had a flat screen. So guess some of the rooms have had their tv's updated. We are usually big fans of the Marriott family of hotels. For less, there are better options. Wish we had a better experience.

“Hopefully the firealarm does not get pulled the next time we visit”

Although our stay was eventful, we did enjoy our stay at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott. The room we stayed in was on the first floor and had two queen size beds. Our kids enjoyed the pool, and breakfest. The staff were freindly. The only downside which is of no fault of the management was that someone pulled the fire alarm at 11pm, this made for a long night for our little ones, who were afriad to go back in the room. A good quite location to get some rest after visiting the Woodland park zoo.

Area recommendations

We would recommend the Woodland Park Zoo, for a family day trip, also be prepared for rain.

“Fulfilled all of my needs.”

Great hotel, great price. Pool was needing a clean but had been abused for the memorial day weekend. Only thing is no fridge in the room. Seems standard these days. Breakfast was great. Front desk staff was awesome .. and the warm chocolate chip cookies monday evening really hit the spot after a long day of business on the road.

“Wonderful Stay”

I have stayed at the Marriott Fairfield in Bellevue twice and each time I had a great experience, the staff was very friendly and helpful, I even got the same room each time and they made great suggestions for restaurants in the area. Very clean comfortable rooms with a good price.

Area recommendations

Bellevue and Redmond are great neighborhoods, good shopping, great eating places, friendly people. Both areas are very upscale, love it there!

“Hope to return soon”

The front desk person upgraded us to a room with a jacuzzi tub which was wonderful! The breakfast was outstanding. Very nice, quiet area. We loved it!

“Better than expected”

I've come to expect quality without frills at Fairfields. However, this stay was a lovely exception. The quality of the complimentary breakfast was superb, the staff, helpful and the condition and upkeep of the property/rooms was top notch. Overall an incredible value in a nice location! Highly recommended.

“Great value!”

Impressive breakfast. Clean and comfortable room. Check-in/Check-out was speedy and friendly. Would definitely stay there again. (Had a wonderfully authentic Mexican meal at the nearby Azteca restaurant...recommend it!)

“great stay”

with the free breakfast, location, internet, and price i was very pleased with my stay. It was the second time i used this hotel. Parking was a problem once as i had to park on the other side of the hotel from where my room was.
