“poor quality and overpriced”

“"Good Priced"”

My wife and I had a conference in Seattle and we were looking for a place close and cheap. We found this one and took a gamble on it. We did good. Although the room had a sticky spot on the carpet, and the air conditioner smelled a little like urine, it was actually a really good room. After seeing other motels close by, this one was by far a good choice. We couldn't afford to go to a nice hotel, so this one was a great choice for us. We will go back if ever we have to.

“served our purpose well”

We were there to explore Seattle without spending too much. This hotel met our criteria of being well priced and convenient for getting downtown. They provided a good breakfast and the reception was great.

Area recommendations

We did the space Needle on a great Day. We rode the monorail,walked through Pike Street Market and along the waterfront and then did the underground tour which was really a great deal of fun. Because the weather was fantastic we drive down to Mount St.Helens park and had the most incredible view of the mountains. It was along day but, from Seattle, a very doable outing and certainly one we would do again.

“Nothing special, but met the requirements.”

Room decor and finish was quite outdated and worn. However, everything was clean and functional. Location not great -- not near the freeway, and across the street from large adult DVD store. Free breakfast was adequate. No protein offered, but good pastries, waffles, etc.

“Clean and comfortable”

We found this a clean, comfortable, reasonably priced hotel. This immediate neighborhood could be better but it's in a good location to get to anyplace in north Seattle/Edmonds/Lynnwood.

“Old, smelly motel way out of Seattle”

This motel has not been updated in a long time. Housekeeping was not very friendly and judging from the room not very thorough in cleaning either. The motel is next to a KFC, which you can smell when you open the window. Other than that, there is not much going on in this neighborhood. With 14 miles from Seattle it can take you a while in traffic to get to the city.

“Needs work”

This hotel was further from the highway than I expected, it was difficult to find, and it was in poor condition. I'd rather pay another $20 and have a more convenient and cleaner hotel.

“very convenient location”

I was quite comfortable and the location was close to where I needed to be for the weekend. The staff were friendly and helpful and accommodating!

“When you pay for a cheap hotel, that is what you get.”

We didn't spend very much on this hotel and we are glad we didn't spend a dime more than we did. The room needs a new paint job, new furniture and better curtains. Although the bed was clean and the room didn't smell, I found an old washcloth in the shower (um, gross!). The continental breakfast was passable; we were both glad they had the waffle makers but wished there had been more topping options. The desk staff was courteous but not really "above and beyond." The location was really seedy (right across from a porn shop, etc) but PERFECT for reaching Seattle quickly with little traffic. Overall, it was passable. It was a cheap place to stay and cheap is what we got. But we were safe, comfortable mostly, got hot showers and were fed breakfast. What more could you want?

Dining

You simply can't miss the Le Panier French bakery in Pike Place Market. They had divine croissants (among many other French pastries) and yummy, yummy, yummy, cheap breads. Oh. My. Goodness. I want more so very much. Right now.
