“Economical, clean, and served its purpose.”

The room wasn't anything special, it was a little on the small side, but I wasn't looking for a luxurious hotel. If you want a place that's economical and you're not planning to spend a lot of time in the room cramped with a spouse and kids, then it was just fine. It did not have a microwave, but it did have a small fridge, which helped.

“Decent hotel....”

....if you do not need internet access. Even that the room was very clean and the staff great, I would not return. They had problems with the WiFi all week long, loading an internet page took several minutes if it worked at all. The Wifi was one of the reasons I picked this hotel in the beginning.

“Good Budget Choice”

The rooms are fairly small, and the building is starting to show its age, but if you can find a decent rate, your stay will be more than acceptable. Although the motel is fairly mediocre in decor and size, there are a few perks that are getting harder to find in "budget" rooms. Aside from free in-room coffee, soap, and shampoo, it was particularly nice to see a robust continental breakfast (including fruit, breads, waffles, juice, etc.), wifi access, and local papers each day. The area is clean, crime-free, an contains ample parking (unlike some of the other Seattle-area Days Inns). In addition to being located next to several restaurants, stores, and coffee shops, it's also just a few blocks away from the freeway, making a commute to Seattle relatively painless.

“SMALL, BUT CLEAN”

Conveient location close to highway. Small room, but clean. Great continental breakfast! Service was good. Coffee and fast food two doors up the steet. Yes we will use this hotel again. Thank you!

“OK place”

Staff was courteous. Room was reasonably clean (small though). Next to a 24-hour McDonnald. Continental breakfast is included (very basic stuff). A ok place to stay if budget is the main consideration.

“OK, but not first choice.”

Property seemed older and in need of updating, however, the rooms were clean and well cared for. The room heater took long time to heat up room. I would go back if can't find another place to stay.

“Dissapointing to say the least”

The toilet had visible feces smeared on it. The pillows were like rocks... unusuable. I had to sleep on the mattress with no pillow. The room smelled like smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. We were freezing cold, so I called for extra blankets and they didn't even have any. The place was NOT booked full, either. They should have had blankets left. Very dissapointed.

“Not what I expected from Day's Inn”

I was greeted by Randy at the front desk who gave me grief over booking with Expedia. Our room was upstairs in the back, with a barely lit and dirtly staircase which made for venturing out after dark a little sketchy. The remote for our TV had to be replaced as soon as we arrived as the batteries were dead and had leaked out onto the remote. Beware of the other guests, the pipes throughout the building squeel and creak every time someone uses the water. Walls and windows are paper thin, and we had to listen to a young woman chatting on her cell phone outside our room late at night. Our toilet didn't flush properly, which I should have guessed was the case when we checked in due to the nasty plunger on the floor beside the toilet on a nasty garbage bag. Although the location was nice for fast food, coffee and convenience store next door, I absolutely expected more from The Day's Inn.

“Not impressed”

The room they finally changed us to , had hard beds & we were next to the boiler room, so all night long we had the noise of it! It is an older hotel. It was clean. The service when we arrived was not great . The room was not in a place with an elevator, which we needed for my Mom. They reluctantly moved us, but it was right beside the boiler room, so we had the noise all night long. Needless to say we didn't sleep well.
