“Convenient to Airport”

Hotel was convenient, but is old, but clean and comfortable.

“kinda tired”

this hotel needs a face lift. great shuttle service; would even pick us up at the car rental place. in the business center, only one of the two computers would work.

Area recommendations

Pike's market but be warned that the parking is for only one hour. Not clearly marked that it is only for one hour.

“Not impressed”

I got to the hotel late at night (after midnight) and it was obvious that the person who checked me in wasn't too happy about being there. The room was adequate but the bathroom was poorly designed and the water flow in the shower was inadequate. For the price, it should have been better.

Area recommendations

If you need to be near the airport you're stuck with the hotels that have airport shuttles. If price is no object and you're traveling for fun, I'd stay downtown or the Lake Union area, where you're close to a lot of activities and great restaurants.

Getting around

If you don't need a car, the Central Link light rail from the airport to Westlake is a great way to travel - inexpensive, relatively quick, no traffic to fight, clean, and safe.

“OK STAY”

This one/two star motel is fairly typical. Noisy, limited and /or dated amenities, well-meaning staff. Some positive features of this Clarion include: the room was well cleaned, free parking, lots of cable stations. Be sure not to accept a room near the entries. While this is a non-smoking property, guests tend to congregate outside. A room on the third floor is probably more comfortable in many respects. For one night, this is an OK stay.

“Rather routine”

Restaurant staff top of the line! Placed an order for breakfast the night before and it was ready at 0615, allowing us a quick departure for the airport. Well done! Front desk people = different attitude. Room had HBO for next month, not this month. Asked for a current schedule and was told to go online and look it up. Bad attitude!

“Clarion - Seattle a bit dirty”

Room was not entirely clean - large dust bunnies visible behind furniture. The staff seemed distracted by a new system, took 3 people to get me registered.

“convenience”

Speedy pick up with the shuttle and a short walk to the light rail if you have time to go into town or be a tourist at Pike Place market.

“An excellent hotel!”

A very enjoyable stay. Room was very quiet with the most wonderful down pillows. The shuttle, business center, and indoor recreation were awesome amenities. Would certainly stay there again.

Area recommendations

The Seattle/Tacoma (SEATAC) area offers the best in cuisine, shopping, and Imax 3D theater. Great shopping malls!
