“Good for the price”
Hotel close to everything, staff very nice, beds comfortable, nice size fitness room. I would stay here again.
“Short trip”
excellent check-in service and very friendly staff
“Needs Some Work”
The front-desk staff was very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is conveniently located near South Center and Sea-Tac Airport, and much more affordable than other hotels nearby. However, the condition of the bathroom was kind of disgusting. Mold seemed to be growing around the bathtub edge, and the toilet seat definitely needed to be replaced! The bed was comfortable, and the sheets seemed clean and fresh. The blanket needed to be replaced, as well, and I always remove those gross bedspreads in hotels, anyway. The breakfast was pretty standard but good, with choices that should please most.
“Not enough staff”
The deck clerk always seemed to be overworked. They did not have a record of my reservation. Took me 40 minutes and two phone calls to expedia to get checked in.
“Middle of the road hotel, nothing fancy.”
Very nice and helpfull front desk staff. Complementry breakfast was left up to one lady could have used some help at times.
“Not Impressed”
Average Hotel. Shower did not work properly. Had to play with handle to get hot water to work. TV channels limited
“OK, but shuttle service poor”
The hotel was nice but I booked this hotel because they said they had shuttle service to and from the airport. I was stranded at the Sea-tac airport and needed to be picked up but was told they didn't have a driver. Thankfully someone did come in and take me to the airport the next morning. I would recommend the hotel to friends but recommend that they check on the shuttle service before the make a reservation.
“Got the hotel because of the discount”
I'll be honest---I never would've considered the hotel if it wasn't for the 50% discount at the time. My beef with Clarion is the tiny rooms. Radisson or the Hilton chain always seem to have bigger rooms. Although I was initially pleased for having wifi in my room (which the Radisson or DoubleTree still charge for!) I was ultimately displeased because the wifi signal bogged down in the morning so much so that I couldn't use the internet after all. Oh, the breakfast was fine...but I couldn't have the same exact breakfast day in and day out.
“It was alright.”
Cheap, comfortable, fairly clean. Convenient for Renton visitors.
“Noisy on first floor.”
While the room was not bad overall, the televsion was less than adequate with poor reception. The worst issue was that I was on the first floor and the individual in the room above was walking around the room continuously until past 1 AM. There is absolutely no sound dampening between the first and second floor. If I stay there again, will not be on the first floor.
