"Great hotel, and mostly a hipster-free area !"
I booked via Expedia, and spoke a few times (via phone) to someone at the hotel called Natalie who was very helpful. The young man who checked me in, called Reed, was also hugely pleasant and helpful, and made me and my wife feel most welcome. I also tip my hat to the other person at the desk, the lovely Jennifer. The pineapple coconut cupcakes were nummy, with a cup of quite tasty coffee. The room itself was very nice and spacious. The amenities were also uniformly excellent. I was also surprised, pleasantly, to find that the hotel, despite being in the so-called "U-District" was mostly a hipster-free zone, and I saw no vaping or other icky behavior going on, so, despite being an old guy, I fit right in. The wee cafe on the premises is also nice, if a bit costly.

"Love this hotel!"
I stayed here with my husband and two small children. Having a kitchen with a stovetop and all the dishes was so great! We also got a few different DVDs from the front desk. It was a great stay. The only issue we had was spotty internet service, so we just used our phones as hot spots.

"Best hotel I have ever stayed at in the U.S."
This was my first trip to Seattle. I was drawn to the vintage feel and simplicity. I mean, the hotels with phones by the toilets are neat, but do you really ever use or need it? As you walk to the door you are greated by the bell hop who assists you with your luggage and then check in. The staff is very helpful and you can tell they enjoy their job. There are no elevators, which was something I loved. It's inly 3 floors and the bell hop will carry your luggage to your room. The rooms are so spacious. Go to their website and see the virtual tours of the different rooms. The room was clean and well set up. An added bonus is the Tin Lizzie Lounge. The food is so flavorful and it is a great place to hang out at the bar. The best part about this hotel is the location. You are walking distance from the Space Center and it is a very safe area. I never felt in danger walking around this area at night. Also, when I was out one day John from the hotel called me to inform that someone was trying to see if I was staying at the hotel. He informed me that he is not allowed to confirm if a person is staying at the hotel which made me feel comforted. They understand safety and protecting their guests. I will recommend thIs hotel to all my friends and family. And when I decide to go back to Seattle I will look no further than The MarQueen.

"Nice location and nice enough accommodations"
It's a nice hotel that is close to Bell Harbor Conv, the space needle and downtown. It's not luxurious, but definitely manageable. Free wi-fi was nice as well.
