“Great service, clean and comfortable rooms, excellent location - When can I go back?”

Excellent hotel if you want to stay in the downtown area. Can't beat the location, character and service of this hotel. I have stayed at a few Kimpton properties and they are always top-notch. The Alexis is where I would stay again in a heartbeat. Beds were comfortable, rooms very clean and service was impeccable.

“Looking forward to a future visit”

We usually stay at different luxury hotel for those special over night trips to Seattle. They had no availability on this overnight trip, but recommended the Alexis Hotel. Glad for the recommendation! Seattle oversells itself in many ways; few things live up to the hype. The Alexis Hotel was a lovely experience and we look forward to our next trip to Seattle.

“Love, love, love this hotel”

For the price, we were shocked at the quality and comfort of the room. All the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay and then some. We will make this our favorite hotel in Seattle.

“Nice spacious rooms with modern decor”

If you need to stay in Seattle near Pike's Place or Pioneer square, this is the place. Its easy walking distance to all the interesting points of town and cabs are abundant if you want to go a little further. A big thumbs up.

“The Bath's In The Suites Swallow You Whole!”

We loved the large room and extra-large bathroom and enormous bath. It provides lots of runnin' around space for our 13 month old. We didn't have a veiw, but it did not really matter, as we were out most of the time. The hotel is 2 blocks above the water and about six blocks away from Pike Place, so it is very centrally located. The free wine tasting each afternoon is a great idea! Well done Kimpton.

“Great Boutique Hotel”

Staff could be a little Friendlier including The Concierge Attendant. We had a great view and our room was not as small as I expected it to be. I read many reviews on this hotel before booking and many people complained about the rooms being very small. I didn't find that at all, especially when you travel a lot worldwide and realize how rooms can be really small in other parts of the world.

“Hotel Service Important on a most important day - Wedding Event”

This was the wedding "resting room" (event happening in the hotel, as well). The hotel was super accomodating and the room was creative and nice. I would stay here all the time, if I could. Rooms at this hotel are very large because of the history of what the historic building used to be (condo's or apartments?). The decorating makes me feel like I'm living lavish. The colors and fabrics are rich and deep. The hotel is situated right in the center of everything. You can walk to Pike Place, the architectural masterpiece that is the downtown library, the waterfront, and everything else. Also, all major buslines for the city to get to all other areas of the city cross either this street (1st) or 2nd, 3rd, and 4th avenues.

“Pampered in Seattle”

When we arrived at our hotel we assumed that for the price (which was great) we would get a 2 or 3 star hotel, maybe the staff wouldn't be very nice or that something would go wrong. But we were happy to stay downtown and be close to everything we wanted to do so I thought, "we'll just deal with it" We couldn't have been more wrong. The Alexis was amazing!! The staff were very helpful and extremely friendly. We got upgraded to a better room than we'd reserved. We fetl pampered. There was a fun bar downstairs that was always crowded with happy tourists and locals. It is a pet-friendly hotel. The decor is very cool. We had an amazing time and can't wait to visit again!

“The Alexis is wonderful!”

I cannot say enough good things about the Alexis Hotel! We were so pleased with everything!! We arrived late at night and were greeted very cordially. We requested additional bath linens, and they were delivered immediately. The room/suite was absolutely beautiful -- spacious, comfortable, clean. All staff members we encountered treated us like royalty, offering help with everything from food to travel tips. The morning coffee was delicious, and the evening wine delightful. We loved seeing the "Pet Board" that listed all pets who were also enjoying The Alexis! Quite a draw for pet lovers!! Again, there are too few words to adequately express our enjoyment of this stay in Seattle. I would recommend The Alexis to everyone!
