“Awesome place to stay in Seattle”

I couldn't be happier about our stay at the ACE Seattle. Such a unique vibe, complimentary breakfast in the morning was amazing, friendly staff and just a short walk into the Pike Market area. My only tiny complaint was that we were there on a very hot day and the room's fan/AC didn't quite cut it...... I wish we were there longer, can't wait to go back! Such a cool place to stay!

“2 thumbs up!”

I wish I had 3 thumbs so that I could turn them upwards for this hotel because it was - Just. That. Good. Period. Sadly I only have 2 thumbs, so that will have to do, but I'm turning them WAY up for this place. I would tell anyone who is travelling on the cheap or with billions in your bag to spend to stay at the Ace in Seattle because rich or poor, it's an amazing place to crash.

“Excellent taste”

This is one of those places that will please someone with fine taste -- but, note, someone who likes hip, mod things. It's not old world elegance, but mod. I loved my stay there, and the staff had excellent taste, too -e.g., pointed me to a bakery with exquisite olive oil and homemade bread along with a local, fruity, but dry white wine, and am electic tapas selection changed every week, all for an excellent lunch.

“Funky but fun”

We really did not know hwat to expect when we arrived but were totally blown away by the room. While nothing like it before, the shower as the head board was very cool and the inclosed deck was nice. We will be going back!

“Urban Chic”

The Ace is not fancy nor pretentious. The hotel offers a hostel-like feeling but with more security, cleanliness and a very helpful & friendly staff. The price is average for what you get, but if you like hip deco and really enjoy the minimalist lifestyle, then the Ace is it. The location is perfect, 10 min brisk walk to Pike Place, and it's only a short block away from the Free Bus Zone that will take you across to the Int'l District & Poineer Square; not to mention that Belltown itself is hip and lots of great food. Where the rooms don't have a bathroom, they have a small vanity; and sharing bathrooms weren't as inconvenient as I had thought it would be, but next time I would get a room with a bath. They do have complimentary robes for you to use. I love that they have the Kama Sutra in the rooms instead of a bible - i'm on vacation! Not going to a convent! The only thing i was dissapointed with was with the forward thinking feeling of the place, they lacked a recycle bin for the yoghurt cups they provide at breakfast, otherwise, free wi-fi, average breakfast; but overall, Hip indeed.

“Wish I stayed more than one night!”

I stayed at several hotels/hostels during my trip to Seattle and Ace was my favorite. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room and hotel were so well designed. I was in one of the standard rooms and sharing the bathrooms were no problem (they even provide comfy robes!). They were very clean and spacious and I barely ran into anyone in the hallway even though the whole place was booked. Breakfast waffles were delicious and even though we were in a rush to check out, i made sure to get one! Only downside is that it's about a 15 min walk to the nearest lightrail station which can be inconvenient late at night or when you're rushing. The neighborhood has a alot to see though (the needle, Top Pot doughnuts, etc) and a beautiful view of the water (and short walk to Olympic Sculpture Park). The bar across the street serves pizza past midnight which saved us when everything else seemed to close so early! I will absolutely be returning next trip.

“Hôtel Ace à Seattle : proche de Pike Place Market”

Un service impécable et chaleureux. Si vous êtes sur la rue, les sirènes hurlantes peuvent vous réveiller. très bon qualité/prix.

“Nice Alternative”

Ace Hotel is staffed by friendly people knowledgable about Belltown - where to eat, things to see/do, cheapest way to park... The hotel's concept is an interesting alternative to more 'traditional' hotel/motel. I would highly recommend it for a urban vacation where you want to experience life in Belltown, not be insulated from it. Lots of live music in easy walking distance as is Pike Street Market.

“Trendy Hotel that is very centralized to downtown Seattle”

We decided to stay at Ace Hotel because it was recommended to us and it was very centralized to downtown. Summary: If you want a nice trendy hotel in the middle of downtown without breaking your budget; this is your hotel! Positives: The benefits of this hotel are - very centralized to downtown - Walking distance to Pike's market - Walking distance to the good food - Very trendy and cool - The provided breakfast was good - The staff was good - Excellent price for what you get. - Very clean and well kept - Wireless is free if you have a computer - Very close to nightlife you want it. I rate it 4 out of 5 Stars but probably would rate it 3.5 stars if I could for the following negative reasons. Negatives: - Noisy. It's off the main street. Our room overlooked the street so it was a noisy until midnight. They provide earplugs but if you are a light sleeper, you might want to request a back room.. (realistically any thing this centralized would likely be noisy) - Parking downtown was non-existent so you need to buy a parking pass - We chose a "shared" bathroom which wasn't that bad since each shower is a separate room. It's not like a dorm. However, we think we don't really prefer a shared bathroom hotel. But if we did.. this would be how we would like it.
