Having passed by this hotel many times on previous stays, I was eager to try out the Castle Hotel. It turned out to be an excellent choice for our family on a recent trip to Orlando. From the luxe lobby details, to the unique artwork throughout the property, the hotel was very pleasing to the eyes. The front desk service was pleasant and we were in our room quickly. The rooms were average size, but featured unique furnishings and decor that had a "fairytale" feel to them. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels in the spacious bathroom. After our day on the town, we visited the lounge area and had a pleasant time. The only negative we found were the drapes in the rooms. There was only one layer (no blackout or sheer), and they did not fully cover the window opening correctly. This allowed both the exterior building lights, as well as sunlight to stream into the room. We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends, and will return there ourselves in the future.
This is not the newest hotel I have ever stayed at but all encounters with satff werte pleasant. The room was cleaned and stocked daily. There was a nice balcony that was screened in which we enjoyed. Parking was right behind the building and was convenient. Close to attractions. Nice clean swimming area and water was very warm. Everything was neat, clean and in good working order.

Visited hotel for last 5 years as we love the location quiet and facilities However was dissapointed this time as no laundry facilities as advertised and always used previously . A private pool party had been arranged for the saturday night which we had not been notified about when we booked as a quest we were limited to where we could sit throughout the day and there was no where to sit and relax on the night it was like a 18 to 30 club avent very lound quite intimidating on the night with drunken people wondering around the hotel and we ended up going to our room for the night as we felt safer. This hotel has never been like this previously and was not what we go there for.
The staff was very nice but they just didn't look as professional as I hoped.
The outside of the building looks nice but the inside isn't as kept up as it needs to be.
The rooms were great! No complaints whatsoever.
Overall, its a good hotel with a lot of potential. Just a little over priced for the quality it is now. With a more reformed management this hotel could easily be a 4-star hotel.
