“Will never do it again”
This was my first expedia experience and I was very disappointed. There were lots of little things I did not like but the mold on the bed skirt was a deal breaker for me... We did not even stay again!
“You get what you pay for”
Stayed at this hotel for Labor Day weekend. The staff was friendly and quick to respond regarding issues with my room. First room had mold and a musty smell, so we were moved to another room. The second room did not have mold, at least none that was visable, but it did have a musty smell. Overall, this hotel was in a good location, but it is not a place I would stay again.
“Mold and Rust Pit”
There was a substantial amount of mold in the bathroom (on the shower curtain and on the walls). The fixtures were rusted. The television was broken and when I called they told me to hold both buttons down, so I did. The clerk yelled at me, saying I couldn't be because the TV should come on. After repeated attempts, she decided that it must be the batteries. After 20 minutes, they brought batteries for the remote only to discover that the sensor on the front of the TV was broken--not the remote.
“Not impressed & won't return”
I have visited Savannah many times and usually stay at a particular hotel, each visit. I chose the Quality Inn Midtown because it was labeled as a 3-star hotel. The price was relatively low and made me quite suspicious. One look at the hotel room and I knew the 3-star label was a misnomer. The room was unappealing and unwelcoming. The hotel looks more of a 1-star but definitely not a 3-star hotel. I am a travel agency representative and would never recommend this hotel. I implore Expedia to revisit and reconsider the star rating for Quality Inn Midtown, Savannah.
“Disappointed”
This Quality Inn needs a serious upgrade and makeover. It is old and not up to date at all. We had to change the room because the bathroom tub drain did not work and there was no hot water. Carpet desperately needed changing. Bath towels were cheap and had stains. Bedding covers had stains also. When we changed rooms, the next rooms' fridge was broken, the shower handle was coming out the wall and the room heater was very loud. The ironing board was old and rusted and didn't work. This is not to be expected from a Quality Inn.
“Very disappointed and frustrated.”
I can't believe Expedia rates the hotel 3 stars. It looks like a motel, feels like a motel, with worse service. And we were not the only people complaining. Another couple we met in parking, they were saying that they were running away as quick as the can. Issues? here are a few, check-in took for ever even I was the only person. The lady looked very confused. There was no elevater. clock in room was wrong, wakeup call came an hour later, phone # displayed on the phone was 418, well, there are only 2 floors, who knows where they got that phone. Checkout, the lady gave me a confusing bill, I'm still waiting for charge posting to my credit card(s) to see if everything correct.
