“Great Deal!”
This was even better than expected, despite some reviews online. Our experience was first class. Everything was good from the staff, to the excellent room, to the amazing buffet--not just donuts and juice--we had eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit, yogurt.....easily $10 + meal. The DOT stops just outside the door and it takes about 15 minutes to get to River Street---runs from 11-8. Definitely recommend this hotel!
“savannah getaway”
this hotel was ideally located downtown. we were able to walk to everything we wanted to do (except for bonaventure cemetary). lots of exercise, the weather was beautiful- we had a fantastic time. hotel was clean and comfy- and the bathroom was large. nice breakfast each morning. we would stay here in a heartbeat again.

Nice hotel, and not too far to walk to the other attractions in the historic district. They do charge $10 per night for car parking. That is much less expensive than the hotels on River Street. Overall a very good value for a nice place to stay.

“Great place to stay, great place to visit”
We enjoyed our stay here and also the city of Savannah. We only wish our trip had been longer. The hotel was nicely decorated and our king room was very comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. The only drawback was the hotel was directly off the main highway, but we were still able to park our car in their garage and walk everywhere. The city of Savannah was clean. There were plenty of great restaurants to enjoy and many shops and historical sites and interesting tours. Obviously, we enjoyed our stay in Savannah!

“An Excellent Savannah Hotel”
We lodged at this hotel for the first time in 08/2011 for the first time. We stayed for five nights and six days. The location is on the edge but in the Savannah Historic District and is convenient to all area amenities. The hotel itself is not readily obvious, but once located, it is easy to "re-find". The only disadvantage is parking. One has to use the Public Parking Deck across the street for $10 per night and to load and unload the car requires one of two spaces in front of the hotel to be available. Otherwise, the hotel is great. The front desk staff are friendly and the housekeeping is good. The room was clean and quiet with an excellent air conditioning system. Flat screen HD TV as well as a microwave and small refrigerator made the stay extremely pleasant. I would very much recommend Country Inn & Suites to anyone looking for a downtown Savannah hotel.

The hotel was extremely clean. Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful.
“Wonderful Honeymoon”
We stayed for our honeymoon and loved every moment of it. The staff was extremely helpful and nice, but the breakfast every morning was awesome. I have stayed in many of motels in my travels and I would have to rate this one at the top my list. We will be definitely staying again our next visit to Savannah.
“LOVED IT!”
We loved this hotel. The staff was great. They were so nice & helpful, The location is great and it's within walking distance of all the sites. We can't wait to go back.
