“great stay”
Beautiful modern room with a tall ceiling. Very comfortable bedding. Overall - new and clean. Concierge friendly and helpful. Great location for walking around historical Savannah.
“Impressive with European feel”
I booked the Avia, as a single travler, based upon reviews of other travelers - and it was definitely a good selection. A bit expensive but worth it. I got one of the single king suites with a balcony - nice to have the extra room plus a small kitchen-like corner. Good points: well furnished in a great eclectic style, VERY comfortable bed, great bathroom, loved the bath robe, great to have a balcony for fresh air and view of river. Minor suggestions for improvement - add a small microwave to the coffee/kitchen center! And for the price the room was on a tad small size (an extra foot of space would have made a big difference) and the area can be a bit noisy (but noise well-blocked by door/windows). Overall I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again - staff was great as well!
“Great Service in Savannah”
We had a great visit to Savanah. The hotel was great. Everyone was eager to help you with any request. The Concierage was great helping us plan all of our excursions to Fort Pulaski and the tours. I highly recommend this hotel!!!
“A lot more to see!”
We got in late and the valet/bellhop took care of parking my vehicle and bringing our luggage to the room afterward. We had a very nice buffet style breakfast the following morning and got some advice on tour buses running throughout the day. Staff was very helpful. It was a Sunday, but almost everything was open. The overall experience was very pleasant. The bus tour made 15 stops around Savannah and gave us a very complete overview of the city, it's history and architecture. We will definitely go back again.
“Goin goin, back back to avia...”
As a former employee of a "boutique" hotel my expectations were met to perfection. We were treated exactly as guests are treated at my former hotel, extremely courteous and nothing but helpful with great local reccomendations. I would reccomend trying the in house "breakfast bar" at the pre purchase price of $11.25. great food great variety great price
“AVIA: Awesome Value In Abundance!”
We had a great time in Savannah, thanks in large part to the fantastic crew working at the AVIA! Doormen, waitstaff, bartenders, and housekeepers were all warm & hospitable. The front desk folks & concierge (Becky) were most helpful and made wonderful suggestions about sights & dining. We loved the location, enjoyed the luxurious, comfortable suite, great breakfasts, and great bar. We would recommend this hotel without reservation (pun intended) to anyone looking for a great value in a top notch hotel. Keep it up AVIA!
“So glad we chose the AVIA”
This was our first trip to Savannah, and not knowing too much about the layout of the city, we took a chance by booking a hotel that we weren't familiar with, in an area that we weren't familiar with. What a great choice!!! The hotel service at the AVIA was excellent - we were treated like royalty, the room was spotless and lovely, and the location was in a great - close to everything. We were extremely pleased the the AVIA, would recommend it highly and can't wait to go back!!
“Southern hospitality at its best!”
We went to Savannah for a "girlfriends getaway" weekend. The hotel has a modern, clean feel that is eloquently decorated. It is a 'boutique' hotel, so the rooms were smaller, but well designed and utilized space well. Perfect for our weekend stay. We had a blast and felt like queens with the cozy beds, plush bathrobes and turn down service. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were warmly greeted with fresh baked cookies and lemonade. The rooms were clean and the outdoor area with fire pit was fantastic. The location is perfect, close to everything. Our experience in this hotel was all positive. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and look forward to our next stay.
“Awesome hotel to stay in”
This hotel was by far one of the best hotels I have been to in a long time. The hotel is in the heart of the historic district and walking distance to everything. The staff was extremely friendly and VERY helpful. Be sure to visit the concierge as they can help you on planning your trip and places to eat. It was our anniversary and they gave us complimentary drinks of our choice when we arrived! If you are staying anywhere in Savannah, you should stay here. I plan on coming back here very, very soon!
“Perfect”
I cannot think of a negative thing to say about this hotel it was wonderful. I would especially like to praise the staff, the service was friendly, helpful and professional. Thanks to them this was one of the most relaxing hotel experiences I've ever had.
