“Very nice place to stay!”

This hotel has such a bad reputation, people say it's dirty and that the service was terrible. Well my boyfriend and I didn't have a lot of money and it was the only hotel we could afford. The people were all so nice to us and when we got to our room I was so pleased to find that it was clean and very nice. We had a great stay here. If we go back to Saskatoon we will definatley be staying at the Howard Johnson again!!

“Best service ever”

Best service ever received at any hotel, including many 5 star hotels throughout the world. The manager saw that there was a group of us waiting for cabs that didn't come, and so gave us a ride in her car.

“Not bad for the price”

For a place to lay your head for the night, it's just fine. We were there on a Fri night and there are 2 bars near by so there were some loud arguments and drunken noise about 2am but I was prepared for that. The cook didn't show up that day so the kitchen was extremely behind on the free breakfast orders. I wasn't expecting a whole lot though, knowing that it is a bar neighbourhood so it was very good for what my expectations were.

“Okay for a few nights.”

Motel is dated but room was clean. Requested extra pillows and they were brought to our room almost immediately. We read that the room only included 2 breakfasts per day but we were 4 persons, they gave us breakfast for all 4 of us without asking. Kids enjoyed the pool with a water slide.

“Very Nice for the Price!”

My fiance and I only stayed one night so I could catch my early morning flight back to the states. We didn't get to try the complimentary breakfast since I had to be at the airport by 5am. The staff was very friendly and helpful. When we got there to check in the counter person was on the phone so the manager explained to us that someone would help us shortly and within a couple minutes there was another person there to check us in.

“Cheap but rowdy”

Good price, but pretty loud, with kids using the pool, teens hanging out in the parking lot, and some police activity at night.

“hotel service”

- key cards did not work all the time - there was an extra charge for the phone to be connceted - the room was clean and comfortable - the pool water was too cold for comfort - needs more chairs in the pool area for parents - there were no extra dry towels for customers to use - the hotel was close to every place we wanted to go to.
