Nice quiet hotel next to the beach.Posted 5-Mar-2014
We arrived late, but it wasn't an issue...very easy to find our key packet and checked in with the front desk in the morning. We stayed in a studio with a murphy bed, which we were a little leery as to what the comfort would be like. To our surprise it was very comfortable! Loved that this place was not in a busy, "touristy" location...would come back again.

Comfortable condoPosted 5-Jan-2014
Very nice condo - fully appointed. Our only disappointments were that (1) you can't really see the beach from the first floor, and (2) the bedroom is in the back so you can't hear the waves. Otherwise, very nice stay.

Perfect getawayPosted 10-Nov-2013
Spent a wonderful 5 days at "The Beach" on the beach, an absolutely beautiful well located place to stay in Long Boat Key. Had a great time!

Amazing stayPosted 16-Oct-2013 on Hotels.com
The location of this hotel is perfect. It's right on the beach. It is very relaxing and tranquil. They provide you with beach chairs and umbrellas. Can't wait to go there next year.

Murphy bed when open, unable to use TV. The only place to sit was a very hard, futon type unit, used to hold suitcases instead. We sat at patio table instead. Pool unlit the 2 nights, even when asked if lighting could be on to use, and unable to use pool the only afternoon there due to all day garden & pool maintanence. Must travel 15-20 to find any place to eat, and when returning after dark, hotel sign is not lite up, therefore, very hard to locate. We needed a ground floor unit due to disability issues, but ocean view is obstructed by sea grass & pool. Positives, beach not crowded, and beautiful. Kitchen comes with basic utensils-very helpful. Staff pleasant & accommodated with request for a blanket. Overall-would not stay there again.

We will return!! :)Posted 20-Aug-2013
Pros: CLEAN, nice staff, excellent location and QUIET!!!! perfect getaway with all of the conveniences you could ask for !!! A+ extra pillows were nice too
Cons: cleaning the pool more regularly, I would love to see an in-room safe to store your valuables or personal belongings.
Location: Publix was .09 miles away for shopping. CVS and other stores in the same plaza.. great location :)
Family of 6 (3 teens. 1 toddler & 2 adults) ... we visited the weekend before the kids returned to school and had an awesome time. Small building so it was not crowded at all. 3 different times we went to the pool and no one else was there (although the pool could have used a good vacuum as there was some sand on the bottom and a few floating leaves and other things our entire stay) .. The staff was extremely polite and provided everything we needed and asked for :) the room was updated with nice appliances and very clean linens, bathrooms were clean and even provided shampoo, lotion, soap, dishwasher pellets, 1 small box of TIDE for a load of laundry and full kitchen supplies including utensils & papers towels! everything we needed was readily available and made our visit very pleasant :D I love that this is right on the beach which is literally only a few steps off the pool. They also provide umbrellas and chairs for you to use on the beach! EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE! we stayed in room 101 which is a 1 bd 2 bath with a den. plenty of space for all of us. FYI the den is between the bedroom/bath and the living room/bath/kitchen area. It was really like a 2nd bedroom because it had a closet (and a couch/sleeper sofa but with doors opening to both sides of the unit. This unit has a lanai that has direct gate access to the pool just steps away. I liked this fefature because i could let the kids swim in the pool and I was able to see and hear them while i was cooking in the kitchen

Decent and beachfront but wouldnt stay here againPosted 14-Aug-2013
Pros: Liked the location def private beach front & they had umbrellas&chairs for guests
Cons: pool maintenance and matress
Location: Close to St Ahrmands circle loved that also close to Anna MAria Island not too far from Siesta Key
This hotel is fine not great staff not very helpful as I called to request an upper evel room 2 weeks before our arrival and we were a late arrival so we got stuck in the back corner, which I had read on the reviews prior to leaving so I called and even told them this was why I was requesting an upper level room went to the office the next morning request again denied , the WIFI never worked the entire time,we also asked for a late checkout and were denied without any help or suggestion from the front desk lady on any of these issues The bed is a murphey not comfy at all worse than a hideabed but the kitchen was nice full size fridge and stove with dishwasher Room was set up really weird Pool was a little dirtytoo
