Staff were all great, room was immaculate, property itself was a dump. Broken down, falling apart, breakfast was inedible, wifi didn't work.

This hotel needs some loving. Definitely not worth what we paid for the room. It needs updating. I felt like I was in 1985 again. Very worn and in need of Updating. Chipping paint bugs in ceiling light in bathroom.. mattresses caved in. Could be a nice place and worth the money if shut dpwn and renovated for a month. But wad told La Quinta inn buy oot order properties thos is th e norm for them . Wont be staying with this hotel chain again. Feel sorry for employees the stuck stuck with complaints and not their fault. Its what they have to work with.

the furniture in the room was a bit tattered and the smoke detector only had the wires hanging out of it. The AC was working but you couldn't adjust the temperature. Very noisy in hallways. For $200 per night, I would expect more than what I got.

The area and things that go on in this section of town are not for me. I was very happy with staff. I saw a man mopping every evening and the housekeepers were always busy cleaning. Friendly and accommodating. All the other reviews are valid. During my stay my rear car window was spit on and I had to go through a car wash/. I also was leered at by one man in particular that was staying an extended period of time . Told front desk and they confronted the man but that’s all that was done. Of course he got mad. Long story/. To make it short I felt VERY unsafe in this area. Once I got to the room I felt ok but I was yelled at and harassed by this man at 9am. I felt the price was way too high. Pull out couch had giant brown stains. Suspected bed bugs. Had to pay by 11am sharp to stay another night or staff pushed you out. I was here on business and this was not convenient. Will eat breakfast w dirty construction workers or strange men leering at you. Just know this is the type of clientele who typically stay here. We moved hotels and the new hotel felt like a palace. I will never stay here again. I would not recommend for vacationing families or single women. Smell on bottom floor extremely bad. Could see shady dealings from my window. That’s the view you will have here. I look back now and think wow I can not believe I stated here.

We arrived at 11pm tired from a long day of travel and waited for a half hour for someone to show up to the front desk so we could check in and get some sleep for an early morning meeting. A lady arrived for work 1/2 hour late and didn’t apologize for the inconvenience. She made her way to the desk, set her purse down then proceeded to make it our problem that we showed up at 11 at night. Never mind we had a flight that just got in. We called the hotel but the front desk phone rang and rang. We couldn’t reach anyone at Expedia for help either. My fiancé is in the hotel business and had never experienced anything like it. He would have fired the woman in the spot. She was also rubbing her stuffed nose with her bare hand after giving us our key. Gross.

we had a problem with rooms , first room lock didn't work, the second room door didn't locked, they moved us to third room and it was not so nice like the first one. my parents had to call to talk to the manager , no discount was offer , we won't be staying in this hotel again, and I would not refer any of friends to stay there either

The building was under renovation. No food or drink was available for sale. The complimentary morning breakfast food was acceptable but felt like a college student food service. The hot and cold water service to our room was switched, so hot water came out of the cold water tap of both the sink and the shower and vice versa. The first day waiting for the shower to be warm was frustrating. When we mentioned the issue to the front desk, they acknowledged it was a problem with several rooms, but no mention was made of trying to fix it. On our last day, we checked out and left our bags behind the front desk, as there was no luggage room. When my partner went to collect her bags at about 5 PM no one was around. She just went behind the desk and took her bags. It was a pretty grim experience overall.

Room key repeatedly needed re-set, I had no “do not disturb” sign, the gym was not clean, bad smell to most of the hotel. Lovely front desk staff and cheap, close to Lido beach, but I won’t book again.

Everything was average. The room had an odor. The whole hotel needs a refresh. For example, the button to call the elevator was made out of plastic and half of it on the fourth floor was gone. The door knobs were loose and it was difficult to get the door open. The sofa bed had a cushion that did not fit properly and was incredibly uncomfortable.

The staff were all friendly, pleasant, and helpful. Unfortunately, the hotel didn't live up to the high level of the staff. The elevator was broken, so we had to lug our bags up to the third floor. It was fixed the second day of our stay. Our room was substandard. The bed was lumpy, uncomfortable, and sagged. The carpet had rips and stains. In the bathroom the toilet paper holder was broken away from the wall. The valve on the tub that controls the shower was frozen open, so half the water came out of the showerhead and half out of the tub faucet. The showerhead was also frozen in place, so it was impossible to adjust it to easily stand underneath the meager water flow. The refrigerator had no temperature control, so the water we put in froze by the morning. The room temperature control was noisy and didn't work well, so the room was either freezing or stuffy and warm. Breakfast was pretty good and the staff kept it well-stocked. There were very few outlets in the room, and no outlets for charging electronic devices. We would not recommend this hotel.

The room and facility was in poor repair. The toilet was leaking on the floor. The room phone didn't work. We had to change rooms. The clerk refused to give a receipt despite being asked three times. The included breakfast was of poor quality.

Hotel needed upgrades. Breakfast area had water damage to floor, cabinet & baseboards by the refrigerator. Stained furniture in sitting area. Lamps in the room were rusted and did not have USB port and bed lamps did not have electric plug. Shower had discolored spots in top corner of wall, not sure what it was. Breakfast was below average, watery eggs/steamed sausage. Front desk staff was very friendly!!!

We traveled for my son‘s baseball travel tournament and it was conveniently located to the park and all the surrounding things to do in Sarasota I don’t have any complaints. Check in was easy the room was clean and the price was great

The hotel is conveniently located to the airport, but is very outdated. Stains on furniture in lobby, limited breakfast hours and didn’t replenish what was gone. No couch in our room when supposed to be. Appears they were in the process of renovating as there were pallets of carpet in hall and painting going on. Staff was extremely pleasant and friendly, very helpful.
