My time at this hotel was great, room was good and bed comfortable, location was great as able to walk everywhere I wanted to go especially to see the ice and snow sculptures at the Sapporo snow festival. I absolutely loved everything as I love winter and snow scenes.

Very convenient location with good amenities
Great location with many key attractions within walking distance. Hotel is clean with big shower area. No daily housekeeping but changes towels everyday. Only miss is that there is no hooks to hang dry clothes during shower and hence slightly more inconvenient. Otherwise, excellent hotel and worth recommendation

Tenza Hotel is amazing
Wonderful time here! The staff were very kind and the hotel was very clean. Great location in Sapporo, Tanukikoji shopping street and Sapporo TV Tower. Definitely a great place to stay whether long term or short.

Must choose this hotel if you are going to Sapporo
We were so happy about everything the hotel could offer. We wanted to extend our stay at the Tenza Hotel in Sapporo one more day. That’s how much we felt the hotel was offering comfort and great services and amenities. Location was perfect to explore Sapporo and surrounding areas. It’s in between 2 subway stations. Walking around Odori Koen in a morning, night life in Susukino, take subway to go other areas was easy. If you feel tired, just go to the Spa to relax. Massage chair for tight muscle for relaxation was a nice surprise! Breakfast offered both Japanese style and North American style foods. Items in a room was chosen with the best interest in their guests in mind. And best of all, the bed was super comfortable.

New hotel and spacious comparing with typical Japanese hotel. Good breakfast choice and laundry room at each floor for free. And onsen on-site open till 1am. Great location with lots of restaurants close by, easy access to bus stop to airport. Felt like at least a 4 star hotel.

Spacious and modern hotel
Super duper spacious with walk in wardrobe, double sink and double vanity. Also has huge common space for us . We are a family of four . It also has a free onsen facility and laundry facilities

Really enjoyed our stay at Tenza! Breakfast was delicious, rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, and the amenities were generous. The large bath on the 9th floor was the icing on the cake!

The room is a bit small but expected for its location. Very convenient to walk around to of the many attractions. The spa is very relaxing and clean. Breakfast is excellent. Airport shuttle is available in front of the hotel and other nearby hotels to Shin Chitose at scheduled times. Overall great value !

Already want to go back!
My husband, 13-year-old son and I stayed here for 5 nights between Christmas and the new year. We are beyond totally satisfied with our experience. The hotel is a bit from the station, but for us it turned out to be the perfect spot as it was right beside Odori Park. We were able to play in the snow there and then go back to the hotel to warm up in the public bath and sauna. And it had easy access to both the subway and tram system so we were able to explore both Sapporo and surrounding areas. Every day got off to a great start thanks to the delicious buffet breakfast. The room was new, clean and spacious and we spent lots of time just relaxing together there on this memorable vacation.

Cold, inflexible staff -- would avoid.
Quite a mediocre hotel. Clean (yet small) rooms. Staff was cold. Unclear where the bath/onsen was. And staff inflexible with the check-out time, and requiring a 1,000 yen payment just to check out at 12:00pm and not 11:00am. Won't be back!!

Great service with a smile and they go the extra mile.
Checked in (early) and the staff had everything ready for us, including letting us use adjacent room for our 16YO daughter. Great location, handy to shops, and free laundy in house. It was, by far, the best hotel deal we got during our 17 day trip to Hokkaido. I highly recommend this hotel for saving us money, while providing a great 4 star service as nothing was too much bother for them. Will definitely stay there again.
