The room is spacious and clean. Above all, this hotel is close to many sightseeing spots. I can visit many places within 10 minutes walk. Highly recommended.

Breakfast buffer is good. Location is good. Service is good. However, the hotel is old. Baseboard is broken and you can see the nails. Telephone did not work at all. It has shower, no bath tub. Shower water is not hot enough. The staffs do not speak much English; mostly Spanish.

Generally, I am easy person, but charged of amount of dollars that not match services , it make me Upset. Hotel was not clean, Breakfast was not good. manager of the shift was not perfectional and rude. only thing make me happy had shower. the rest was not The time I arrived, They could not find my information. I booked my reservation Dec 22 2022 mouths ago . I had my conformation and Itinerary but they denied that we do not have your information and you need to prove it .. finally, I have to pay for my reservation twice.

Very grateful for the front desk staffs scheduled some of our tours. The room is clean and comfortable, but lack of some basic things, such as a simple coffee or hot water tea maker, which is pretty standard everywhere in the world. Breakfast is awful bad. Location is the best for a tourist.

The service in this hotel was excellent especially in the restaurant. The hotel was clean and the environment was quiet for the most part. The only negative I would suggest paying for reservation before instead of electing the pay later option because I was charged a higher rate and they would not honor the rate I had been quoted by Expedia when I made to reservation.

A very nice room, however it appeared that vinyl plank flooring in the room transferred grey colour to our socks! Perhaps the cleaning products used (perhaps new products used in response to the COVID-19 Crisis).

Comfortable hotel, decor is a bit tired but all clean. Kind staff on reception let us check-in early after an overnight flight which was appreciated. Good breakfast buffet. Good location near to cathedral and walkable to main attractions, not too far to metro.

Arrived early expecting to just leave my bag but thry had a room avaliable and gave me the card. Even inviitng me to breakfast for that day. Very pleasant staff. Furnishing a little dated. But for location, cleaness, cost and staff perfect little stay.

If you staybat this hotel avoid 9th floor, rooms are tired! 4th floor renovated, not sure about other though. Restruant needs renovating, staff excellent and accomodating, restruant menu needs attention though, very basic and repetative if you stay to long. if you have a provlem like we did witha dripping shower,we asked formit to be looked at in reception, ehen we arrived at our room in 9th floor the service guy was waiting to look at it. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. All in all value for money.

This hotel has lovely large rooms which we loved however they need to get rid of the bedspreads and go with clean white duvet covers. That would make a huge difference as most people, me included, think these bedspreadsare dirty! The hotel was in a great part of town it allowed Is to walk to many sites or to take the underground

Needing a short stay close to major city landmarks this hotel, albeit it a bit tired, was perfect. The buffet breakfast was ample and there were plenty of nearby restaurants for dinner. The reception staff, although most with no or limited english, were extremely helpful. I would stay here again

Great location for seeing the sights in Santiago. Also close to the Metro. The room was spacious with a good bathroom. The wifi didn't always connect in the room but it was good in the lobby. The breakfast was also decent including more substantial things such as scrambled eggs. There was no noticeable noise from the street in my room. If you are looking for a more modern hotel then, from what I have found, you'll probably need to stay in Providencia, but that seems to be more of a business district and away from the sights.

Nice hotel in a great location
This was just an overnight stay but I found it to be in a great location for walking around, sight seeing. The room was large and bright and clean. The A/C didn't work but that wasn't a big deal since the windows opened and the weather was mild. The bed was comfortable and overall, I felt very safe in the neighborhood (single female traveler). I would come back to this hotel if I find myself in Santiago again.

Very convenient location near the centre. Only problem was an event in the centre and numerous roads were closed. Took an hour and a half to get to the airport and late checking in.

Nice room in Santiago
Stayed at hotel for one night after coming back from Patagnonia. Room was large with heated marble floors throughout the whole room. Bed as very large and lots of pillows provided. Upon first glance, the room looks very nice and luxurious but, upon closer inspection, you notice small details like poor-quality closet doors and funky walls. Nothing that makes you want to stay away, but not at the level of a Marriott - which is OK because it costs much less. Avoid the restaurant for dinner at all costs. The food is mass-produced and not a good value. Breakfast was sufficient given that it was free

A pretty average hotel in every respect, but price is reasonable. It has seen better days but i was in only for a night en route to Atacama, so I wasn't looking for a fancy accommodations. Quiet, practical, and serviceable but can use a bit of an update. Not a bad location in Santiago center.

I have to say that i will recomend this hotel very center location, includes breakfast very repetitive but something is something, includes parking too. The staff is not kind or will try to serve you but they do their work nothing more. The rooms were clean and ok for me. hot water. Ask for a high floor as this is a city hotel is expected a litle bit of noise nothing that i cant handle. Very near to train and bus station and if you like to use bicycle there is a station almost in front of the hotel. A small market around the corner, an starkbuck in the hotel corner too. Internet access was great.

Hotel in excellent location
I chose the hotel for its location in the historical center of Santiago where museums and interesting sites are easily walkable. The hotel is decent and comfortable, but don't expect luxury. It is very good value for the money. It has a tasty breakfast included in the price. The room was comfortable and kept very clean. There is free internet in the rooms, and computers for guests to use for free on some of the floors. I noticed that there were several tour groups that stayed there during my stay - that is usually a good indication that the hotel is good value. I don't speak much Spanish, but that was not a problem. Some of the very helpful staff know English. I was happy with my choice.

The location of this hotel was very good. It was nice and close to the city centre so easy to get around. It is a little older and so not so flash but it was clean and the staff were efficient. The breakfast was substantial as was the restaurant meal at night. Tea and coffee facilities in the room would be a good idea as many travelers don't want to have to ring room service to get a cup of tea, especially if they don't speak the local language very well.

Staying in Downtown Santiago
It is in the old city and has lots of interesting sites. Stores and restaurants were right there as was the Hop on Hop off Bus stop for us tourists. The one weird thing was when we were at breakfast, they took all the towels. You didn't have any towels until they washed them and brought them back later in the day. We didn't like that! Would have liked a pool, but price was great.

From the patience of the helpful staff with my non-fluent Spanish to the reliability of the WiFi and spaciousness of the room (single King bed), I have nothing but praise for the Panamericano. The desk clerks were always ready to point me in the right direction with a smile, and when I could only log onto the WiFi with one device (iPhone), the tech guy solved the problem within a few minutes so that I could connect with my iPad and MacBook Air as well. The breakfast was adequate—no complaints but no raves, either. note: Despite the reports of several websites, the outlets were not those found in France and Germany but the straight line of three holes found in Italy. The adaptor I bought for France/Germany worked fine, but some French fellow travelers had problems: the prongs on their plugs were spaced correctly but were too thick to fit in the outlets.
