The property was very nice,warm and clean. Brilliant shower. Lovely staff. A little far away from amenities but good bus service to and from santander.

Great find
Had a great time here after a day's travel before continuing our journey, relaxed atmosphere, food and room were really nice and comfortable, will definitely be staying again.

Best thing is the staff. Very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Still using too much plastic though (small plastic shampoo etc instead of big refillable bottles).Also food available for breakfast and dinner needs to be more modern ie. more vegetarian. On the plus side, the hotel is bery close to the airport.

Lovely Hotel - Ideal For Santander Ferry Stays
Lovely little hotel - on the outskirts of Santander - that was used an overnight stay for the Santander-Plymouth ferry. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and quiet (despite being next to a railway line and also on a main road) - and the prices are very competitive. The on-site restaurant is also very well priced and food of good quality.

Nice good value hotel
Nice hotel, very reasonably priced. Clean comfortable room, though heating a bit high and not easy to control. Friendly cafe attached. Good wifi

View not spectacular.
The location wasn't great as looking out on factories and train station. Quite noisy. Room clean & good shower.

Handy hotel for ferry port
I have stayed here before and have enjoyed both of my visists. The reception staff speak good English and are friendly and helpful. The bedrooms are spacious, clean and extremely comfortable, especially the pillows. The restaurant serves good food although the loud TV detracts from enjoyment of the meal.However I appreciate that the facility is popular with local people and I should not expect a reduction in volume solely for ourselves.

Close but no cigar!
I chose this hotel as it was close to a customer I was visiting. Close to railway which was noisy, bed was very firm and bathroom was adequate but shower had some hairs from either previous guest or cleaners.

Disappointing
I booked a superior room as I thought it would have a balcony which it didn't. The room was very small, the television was very small with no English channels and the air con did not work. We have stayed in other Secotel hotels which have been good and we go back to them, This one I would not return to.

Great for Pet owners.
This hotel serves pet owners sailing from Santander particularly well. The rooms are well appointed but could do with tea/coffee making facilities and a mini fridge too. Free WiFi is available in all rooms as are flat screen TV's and there is free parking at the front and side of the hotel. This hotel has a bar/cafeteria that proves to be a wonderful bonus. It offers decent hot food at a very low price and the service is excellent throughout the hotel. Our only criticism was the shower base. The bathrooms look elegant and modern but the shower base was VERY slippy and there was nothing to hold on to. We would highly recommend this hotel for people travelling from Santander Port because it's only about a 10 minute drive away from the ferries.

Sandander outskirts for top value.
Excellent value for money for a stop over before the ferry. Nice big rooms. Great bathroom. Excellent cafe bar. Friendly staff.

Acceptable hotel for oevernight stay
We stayed at this hotel outside of Santander to avoid departure traffic the next morning. The hotel is clean and all the staff, especially Esther, very friendly. It is not located near any restaurants and the on-site cafeteria offers a very limited menu. The hotel is good for a stop over but I do not recommended it if you plan to spend time touring in Santander and nearby points of interest.

Great alternative to Santander centre high prices
Excellent room, friendly staff, dog friendly, easy to find, managed to park in front - might have been more difficult at busier periods. Would go back. Handy for Santander without the price of the city.

Quiet, pleasant place to stay
The staff was helpful and friendly. Not having a car, the bus stop just across the street was very handy. Good views from the hotel, easy walk to groceries, nice cafe part of the hotel.

Ideal hotel for stopover before or after ferry cro
We wanted somewhere close to the port to spend the night before heading to Madrid the next day. The hotel is 15 mins away. We found it ideal. Nice staff. Bar and cafe or restaurant. We ate in the cafe and had a good meal that was not expensive. Rooms geared for business traveller. Wifi/Internet connection and plenty of sockets for recharging things. Not much to see or do as in a commercial area but for a stopover I would highly recommend it.

Untidy stairs with crumbs & hair on more than one floor, cracked tiles in bathroom, mould on the ceiling & very old tv . Also no bars or restaurants near by would not use again even at the price.

En route to Santander
Enjoyed our stay at Secrotel Los Angelos when we eventually found it! Hotel surroundings were none too inviting but the hotel itself was nicely furnished, very clean with a very busy cafe/bar on to the busy street. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant didn't open until 9.00 pm but was worth the wait. Food was reasonably priced and generally excellent. The staff were amazed that we could communicate in Spanish and furnished us with local liqueurs free of charge. Continental breakfast in the cafe was adequate and when I asked for a large bottle of water to take away payment was refused and water given free of charge. When we were leaving to make our way to the ferry at Santander receptionist gave us a good map on which she had written excellent instructions in English. We were there inside 15 minutes. Only real downside was we thought for some reason there was a Spa attached to the hotel. Evidently not! Anyone travelling from southern Spain to catch the ferry to Portsmouth/Plymouth would do well to get the bulk of their journey behind them and spend the night at this hotel.
