Surprisingly good!
Not easy to find even with satnav but worth the effort. We arrived early from the boat and had to wait for the room to be ready. They said 10 minutes and meant it. Room was a good size, on the ground floor, great for an overnight stay. Reception and waiters very helpful. Breakfast at 5 euros for continental was really good with plenty to eat.

The room we stay in needs a desperate improvement on beds, decoration. Everything including the bathroom fixtures date back to the 60’s. Very uncomfortable beds.

No hay champú ni gel, tampoco pasta de dientes. Las toallas son demasiado finas. Las sábanas eran húmedas. La habitación da sensación de agobio. La televisión es muy pequeña para la distancia desde la cama. Muy caro en relación a la calidad que presta, al menos deberian de dar gratis el desayuno. Lo único bueno fue que era limpio

Never again!!!
My partner and l were in Spain buying a house, we stayed in a beautiful hotel in Colunga and decided to find a hotel near the airport and l booked this place, outside the hotel was beautiful, our room however was in the basement, could not open the windows fully so inside the room was a swear box ...single beds ( apparently that’s what l ticked) but that was ok except the beds were folding up beds with thin mattress and in the morning we were in agony, couldn’t even have a shower in the 2 foot bath ...not only that we were woken up at 4am by the hotel workers having a chat and drinks outside our room, l had to go outside and tell them to move or shut the hell up!!! . Breakfast was shop bought orange juice not cold! Hot chocolate, hahahaha HOT🤔. Lukewarm and horrible coffee.... the hotel was beautiful from the outside but very disappointing to stay there. Cost more than the beautiful hotel in Colunga... never again... unless the other rooms were better ....keep away ....deco was dated and felt like l was in my grandma’s basement

Nice old hotel with a family run feel. Everything was dated in a retro sort of way. Staff were pleasant and professiona. Room was a bit damp with no ventilation in bathroom. Room also a bit noisy with people coming and going in the corridor and outside. Breakfast good value for €4. Coffee, juice, cereal etc. Good bus link to Santander

Good for the ferry. Nice looking hotel. Great staff. Good continental breakfast for under €5.Just Only gripe was room. Seemed like an old fashioned prison with barred window that required climbing on a stool to see out of. Water gushing all night , presumably from upstairs toilets. However beds were comfortable and water was hot. I expect the rooms upstairs were nice - pity we weren't given one of them On the whole good value for an overnight stops8

Hotel Antoyana
The hotel is 4 miles from Santander in a quiet area with no local amenities. If you want food etc you would need to travel to find it. We were given a basement room which smelled of damp and the bed linen felt clammy. On the plus side, the hotel is kept very clean and the staff were friendly. As a stop off point for the ferry, it was ok because it is reasonably close

Fantastic people run this hotel.
Despite reception closing for check-in at 11:30pm, these amazing people stayed up to give us our rooms at 1:00am after a delayed flight. We didn't speak much Spanish and they had only a little English but they made sure my 87 year old Mum had a ground floor room so she could crash after our 11 hour journey.c They have very big hearts and good standard hotel at a reasonable price.

The receptionist and his wife were very kind to us. We arrived after late check in and they waited for us to get there. Upon getting there we realized that there was no air conditioning. We asked about it and they brought us a small fan to help. The breakfast was delicious and the wait staff very attentive. The only down fall was the ac but the owners and Hotel were nice.

Very nice hotel well kept with a feel of elegance inside. Unfortunately we was kept awake by water gushing from the guttering most of the night which is the main reason i have given inly 4 stars.

AVOID THIS HOTEL
DO NOT GO THERE Absolutely horrendous, very sketchy neighborhood with very suggestive hotels where you rent rooms by the hour, the bathroom was beyond filthy, walls paper thin, discarded cars by the entrance, VERY far from Santander... Definitely not worth the 80 euros i was charged for a night! To top it all off, the only positive feature - WiFi - was not working.

Impressive hotel on the outskirts of Santander
The hotel is magnificent from the outside and the lobby hall is most impressive. Our room was a little small with two small single beds. The staff were quite helpful.

Good location after arriving by ferry in Santander at the start of our holiday. Old-fashioned decor, but reasonably priced, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel, off the beaten track.
Great character hotel for those with simple tastes. Off the beaten track a bit but town centre doesn't suit all. Only downside for me was lack of a/c, it was 35C while we were there and humid. Otherwise, really liked the place.

Antoyana - Santander
Given the rate charged during the stay, the quality of the room was sub-standard. The room and bathroom were clean. The bathroom was tiny and very uncomfortable to use. The beds appeared to be foldout/camping beds and were not very comfortable. The plumbing seemed to be in the walls and therefore when other rooms were running water, it could be heard. The location is conveniently in the suburbs of Santander, but the surrounding neighbourhood is not welcoming. I would not recommend this hotel.

Está a las afueras de Santander, a unos 25 min. en autobus (linea 3) y a 10 min en coche o taxi El edificio es muy bonito, aunque por dentro es bastante antiguo, pero limpio. Desayuno sencillo. Atencion de los trabajadores excelente

A pochi km dal centro città e dall'aeroporto. Struttura vecchia, parcheggio presente, personale disponibile. E' un'ottima soluzione per chi ha un volo la mattina presto e deve raggiungere l'aeroporto velocemente. Ottimo prezzo.
