“Needs a face-lift”

To be fair, I slept well, the room was clean, but this is a hotel that needs some TLC - there are stains in the ceilings, carpet falling into seams and the "exercise room" was smaller than my closet at home.

“Great price for the stay”

Try the cafe next door. The free breakfast choices are enough - no need to upgrade. We went for dinner a couple of times as well and the food was better than anywhere else we have eaten in Santa Fe.

“Simple and totally acceptable”

It's nothing fancy, but the room was clean, the pool was nice, free internet access, small but good cooked-to-order breakfast. We were perfectly happy.

“Lost in Santa Fe.”

The rooms were clean. I loved the massaging shower head. That came in handy after a hard day of walking all day in historic Santa Fe. I'm very glad that they had and ironing board and an iron in the room.The only thing I did not like was that they would not check in at 11:00 A.M., because there were no rooms available untill 1:00P.M. That sounds odd to me cause I had a reservation made three weeks in advance.

“One clerk ruined perfection”

Everything was good except for the clerk on duty the evening of July 6th. I wanted to check out because we were leaving at 4 AM the next morning and all the clerk could do was to tell me reasons why I couldn't check out instead of trying to find a way to make it happen. He had a closed mind to what I needed to do.

For my trip, this motel worked well. I was looking for a reasonably priced motel, to sleep in, not to far from I-25. While this is a older motel, in need of some upgrades, it was clean, and well taken care of. It also had nice pool, with a sliding door in the room, for access.

Unheated pool. Breakfast provided.

Very important to have access to workout machines.
