We enjoyed our stay at the Old Santa Fe Inn. It is a very quick walk from downtown -- less than 5 minutes. The rooms are quaint and cozy. We stayed here twice during our trip: the first stay we had a second-floor room, which was very nice though small; the second stay we had a first floor room, which was large with a gas fireplace.
The free breakfast is terrific; it was a great way to start the day. The hotel also has parking (very tight spots, but it's free) and a small exercise room. The hotel also has coffee, tea, and cookies every afternoon. Great place to stay in Santa Fe!

"Wonderful hotel close to the plaza. great manager"
The hotel is lovely, close to the plaza . Karen the manager was so generous with her time and information . We were thrilled with the rooms and the breakfast every morning is a delight. The hotel and staff were our favorite part of our trip.

Celebrated my birthday with a girlfriend, and we had a great experience at the Hacienda. Cozy yet spacious rooms with great little extras such as free breakfast and cocktail hour each morning/evening. The best feature of this hotel is the free shuttle that will take you to and from area attractions in Santa Fe for free. It covers most of the area you would want to go and runs until 10pm. Saved us a ton of money in cab fees because we only had to take cabs home if we stayed out past the shuttle time. The butlers were friendly and accommodating, and our room was very clean and comfortable. If you need to use the business center (which I hope you don't since you're on vacation), the computer and printer are both slow. Took a long time to bring our balloon fiesta tickets, but that's not really a huge deal. Great location, nice and quite. Restaurant was meh, but there's no shortage of great cuisine nearby.

My husband and I stayed there for pleasure trip and business as well. Our only complaint was when we arrived it was cold and rainy and the air conditioned room was not only a waste of energy but way too cold. When we returned to our room the 2nd day we found the maid had done the exact same thing. Brrr. Everything else about about the room and our stay was wonderful. Especially the art in the rooms and all over the property. Each piece included a placard describing the piece. Nice touch.

The hotel has beautiful peaceful grounds and a very relaxing atmosphere. It is owned by the same family since 1936 and is very proud of its heritage and artistic background. There is a spa, a pool, a place for children to play, and wonderful places to sit and enjoy the outdoors, the sky, and the air of Santa Fe.

Large room with sitting area, kitchen, eating nook and separate bedroom. No desk to set up a computer, but the bar works well. Close to the tourist attractions, but near the north edge of town so very little traffic or noise. Possible to walk to the Plaza, etc, but also parking available within 2 blocks of the Plaza. Fantastic view of the mountains from my porch at unit 10. Looking for a little exercise? Walk around the Old Fort Marcy Park almost next door.
