"The best, modest, close to everything, motel in Sa"
I booked a Casita, one of the little apartment type rooms for myself and my dog.
I am 54 years old and I almost cried with delight when I entered the room after a half country trip from Key West.
Stayed 4 nights while my car got worked on at Subaru.
Huge King bed, desk, drawers, exposed rafters, terra cotta tile floors, ceiling fan, little touches like red chile peppers placed on the towels, a rubber duck by the tub, a yoga mat, cotton balls and q tips, extra blankets, a good sized fridge and new microwave, lots of hot water, quiet quiet quiet as the casitas are around the side off a residential back road. Right across the street from the Railyard area with galleries and walking trails, close to downtown, a food market across the street, Trader Joes and Whole Foods 5 minutes away, the breakfasts were awesome, eggs, sausage, beans, chilies, tortillas bred, fruit, the cleaning staff never bothered you but seemed to quietly out of sight wait until you left the room to clean. Sitting area outside the casita with chairs and table....
