“It was comfortable.”

Over all it was comfortable. They need to have a way to keep the noise level down from people slamming doors.

“Nice hotel- BUT”

The hotel is nice and well maintained. My only problem with it is the breakfast. Some people get the opportunity to purchase breakfast coupons with their rooms and this is a good deal. It is a small price for a generous hot and cold buffet. However, not everyone gets to buy this. We didn't and we had breakfast there three days. We ate exactly the same thing each of the three days. The first day the price was reasonable, the next day it was 1/3 higher, the next day it was double the first day's price.

“Nice, but noisy hotel”

Noisy, but nice. Doors slamming makes for a lot of noise. Nicely appointed room inside.

“So so”

I had mixed feelings about this hotel. For the price, it was a decent place to stay, but my room had a strong, moldy smell to it. It seemed more like I was staying at a motel, rather than a Marriott. By the time I got to Santa Fe, I was too tired to complain. The hotel is in a nice neighborhood adjacent to shopping and food. The staff was very pleasant, and the overall appearance of the hotel is nice. Overall, if you need a place to sleep, it was alright.

“Nice hotel, except...”

The hotel was nice, except the carpet in the room was terribly dirty. Our 3-yr old was playing on the floor and ended up with blackened legs and feet. When we complained to the front desk, they responded with indifference.

“Not bad.”

The hotel is a little shabby, but is well maintained. When we arrived in our room, it hadn't been cleaned. Housekeeping fixed that right away. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant is mediocre, but there are lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby. Downtown (the plaza) is about a 15 minute drive, but well worth it.
