I have stayed here multiple times. Usually get a decent rate and away from all the congestion in downtown solvang but only a 5 min car ride. Very clean and nice facility.

It was a great stay but they allowed a dock to bark for hours on end after the owners left the dog behind and they disrupted everyone else.

We really enjoy this hotel and visit usually once a year to visit daughter and stay 5 or 6 days. We like the older hotels because the rooms are larger and you have time to relax and breathe. The price is a little expensive but we will continue staying unless the hotel is no longer competitive.

This our third time staying at the Hotel; we find it very convenient to the wineries and to the Danish town of Slovang. The room was really nice and reasonable. Will stay there again, in the future.

Will definitely be back! Staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the hotel. Outdoor patio was nice with lots of games to enjoy outdoors. Walking distance to Firestone and McDs for the kids.

When we were checking iin the desk clerk told us to go into the lobby to book online to save money. Ok thanks. When we went back to the desk to finish, he told us that because we booked online they would not record our loyalty number. We mentioned that we did not pay the $10 online for breakfast. He said we should have because now it was going to cost us $29.

For the price, this is one of the better hotels in the area during the holiday season. This Marriott property could use some updates. We had two rooms during our stay. The air conditioning/heating unit did not work in the first room and our other room had a sewage odor. They did attempt to remedy the issues when notified. It is great that the hotel has a bar and restaurant on site.

Servers needed in lounge. One person acting as bartender, host, server, manager. There was a pretty full bar and 20 seated for meals. Always have 2 on, at least. Also, we went to order more and told the cook closed kitchen to take his break. What? During dinner service hours? So, we didnt get more food. Maybe 2 cooks, too. The server wouldnt write anything down. Our party of four had 10 minutes to wait for menus, a forgotten coke ( Grandma) a forgotten cocktail ( husband) and totally skipped my Husband's Award-winning chil verde. She ordered it and it arrived after 2 entrees were eaten. Then my daughter ordered a burger but told no, cook's on break. Had to ask for check twice. Never offered another round, coffee, or dessert. My cranberry soda was grenadine like a Shirley Temple the second time...sigh. We had a similar experience here when we came NYEve. Things could be great with adequate coverage or management touchingvtables to turn the ship around. We spent $850 on two rooms and one dinner, 2 breakfasts, one nightcap round. So, 900 plus dollars. I wish we could recommend but if it improves please call me and I will try again. The facilities are gorgeous and I shared some of this and check-in problems with management I met on prem in morning. Thanks. We love the pool and gym. Both out of towels, tho on Monday.

The staff was wonderful, all of them! The room was big and clean. The bed was super comfy. I didn't like the open shower too much as the entire bathroom floor got slippy after a shower.

Carpet needs to changed I was bitten by fleas. The buffet needs to be done better the milk was expired. Food was dry.

Sadly, the room's toilet did not work and also had someone else's residual urine on it. This was brought to the attention of desk staff, but a repair was not performed before check-out. At check out, desk staff was also asked if they could discount the room, or perhaps add a future Marriott discount. They refused and said to "contact Expedia" since the reservation was performed via that service and that "we cannot do anything."

Some of the pillow cases and sheets were dirty. The door to the bathroom didn’t close all the way so you can see the person on the toilet and the shower curtain was too short so the water came out of the shower.

ADA room had to step in bath tub to take shower. Wife and I use Cpap machines no tables on one side of bed. Heat only had very cold or 80 Asked to fix never worked proper This is the worst Marriot.I have ever stayed at
