The hotel was fine and had a good view. The best thing about our stay, though, was Matthias at reception. He was so welcoming and friendly.

Lovely rooms, outslde area needs improvement.

This place is set up for tourists with cars. Its a 30 minute walk to the centre of town. There are few facilities onsite other than a cafe/bar that serves snacks and closes at 7pm. The pool area could do with a refurb. On the flip side, the rooms themselves are great - well designed and spacious.

Pros: The view, the breakfast.
Cons: The comfort of the bed, bathroom appliances, kitchen cabinets should open.
Location: Beach, lots of shopping, casino, bike riding, exploring different neighboring towns such as Bussana Vecchia
This hotel was pretty standard - nothing spectacular but also not bad. The room could've been in better condition, as the appliances were old and the bathroom fan really loud. I didn't feel that the room furnishings matched the lobby and the outside grounds of the hotel, which were a lot better. One good thing about the rooms is that they boast a spectacular view of the coast.

Never again

Even the hotel is beautiful and with a marvelous view, the access road is terrible and can destroy your car. Also, rooms reserved with a fridge have no fridge and personnel did not care. No air coniditioning during all our stay. Horrible hot (around 100F). A/C not working with the excuse that "needs a part". Every time we claim for something the personnel laugh. Parking is very difficult because they do not care at all about guests. No way to recommend. There are hundreds of hotels in this beautiful Italian Riviera.

Lovely looking hotel when you find it. Need satnav and good eyesight to see signs.Don't arrive in the dark. the room was spacious with seaview. However the aircon was not working anywhere in the hotel during the 3 days we were there making being in our room very uncomfortable .Didn't sleep well and hotter and wetter after shower than being in it! Management didn't seem to care. No restaurant.Breakfast staff too busy making coffee to clear tables or replenish food..Local kids seem to use lovely pool.

Great Views, Large room

Posted 17-Jun-2014 on Hotels.com
For the location it wasn't central to anything but all the hotels were sold out do to the Grand Prix in Monaco. Hotel is basically on top of a mountain and the view was outstanding over looking the part of the town and the Adriatic Sea but was hard to get to. Food that was offered for breakfast was good not outstanding but and ample supply. The coffee had to be made for each person that wanted some and wasn't enough. room was basically looked like an apartment converted to a Hotel. The parking was free at the hotel and the wifi was good not outstanding. The management was excellent and truly cared about the quests from the time we got there until we left.

A wonderfully quiet hotel perched on a hillside

Posted 30-May-2014
Pros: The staff! The staff are very professional and yet friendly and approachable too! I loved the views and the room was fantastic!
Cons: Clearer information about the steep position of the hotel.
Location: The location is part of the attraction as it is away from the town centre and very peaceful.
Firstly, as one approaches the hotel it is clear that it is located in a steep position overlooking the sea and San Remo. The reception area is bright and modern and very welcoming indeed! I found the staff to be very friendly, professional and obliging as well as informative. The hotel has a lift and I have to say how pleased I was with my room! The room was spacious and well appointed with a nice balcony affording privacy as well as excellent views over the vicinity. The hotel is not ideal for those with mobility problems due to the steep location. However, for those seeking peace and quiet and privacy the hotel is perfect! I hope to return to this hotel in the future!

Modern hotel with good facilities

It is a difficult hotel to locate with not the best road surface on the way so not a place for supercars. Go elsewhere for dinner unless you like very bright places with a cold feeling. Everything else was great
