Modern hotel with good facilitiesPosted 21-Oct-2013
It is a difficult hotel to locate with not the best road surface on the way so not a place for supercars. Go elsewhere for dinner unless you like very bright places with a cold feeling. Everything else was great

Very stylish and comfortable.Posted 13-Sep-2013
An unusual and modern hotel with a (pleasant) quirky style, excellent pool and great views. Only problem is finding it. Signs to it were virtually non-existent. Make sure you print off a detailed map of the immediate area before you leave. Once there, it was fine.

Modus Vivendi less than ModestPosted 13-Sep-2013
Cons: Air conditioning should be provided.
Location: It is situated at the top of a hill. The road leading up to it very uneven and full of pot holes. You need a car to go up and down the hotel.
Difficult to find even with GPS. No air conditioning in the room or dining hall. If you have east facing room in the summer you would be woken up by the rising sun around 5 O Clock in the morning and room temperature will rise to quite hot around 7-8 am. To avoid the sun you have to use the solid wooden blinds which does not help the room temperature. No facilities in the room except TV. Wi-fi is disappointing. Bathroom is small with a tiny shower cubicle.

Ok hotel but too far out from the town centrePosted 17-Jul-2012
Pros: Quiet and friendly staff.
Cons: Location (too far from town) and shuttle bus times not ideal.
Location: Up in the hills and outside the town.
If you don't have your own car then the single biggest problem with this hotel is the location. It is up in the hills and although there is a shuttle bus the times are not always ideal to meet most people requirements. The hotel is not near enough to the town centre but some people might like that. If you did have you own car then I would suspect that the hotel might be slightly difficult to find with the confusing local narrow roads in the area. Other than that the hotel was ok. The hotel appeared to be quite empty but the hotel staff were very helpful, approachable and keen to assist with any queries.

it's all uphill to La Rosa dei VentaPosted 24-May-2009
nice place, but difficult to find as not signed from main road (as other hotels are) Look for the sign to Eden Hotel. long way from train station (now in east of town, but we asked, and were given, a lift back to the station when we left
