West End Paradise Unit 2 - two bedroom suite w/water views

Enjoy all that Sanibel Island has to offer at the West End Paradise. Our charming cottage style accommodations offer a serene and tropical setting with mature foliage, pond with birds and turtles and we're just a short walk to the private Tradewinds beach. Unit 2 is our largest floorplan with two bedrooms/two bathrooms, a full kitchen, spacious living room, dining area and screened lanai. The master bedroom suite features a king sized bed and en-suite bathroom with the guest bedroom having two twin beds and full bathroom just outside the room. All of our units come with beach equipment, beach towels, access to the charcoal bbq grill, outdoor seating, high speed wireless internet, cable TV and air conditioning for those tropical Island summers.

Magical Property
We absolutely loved staying at Tradewinds. It was clean, quiet, cool, old-Florida quaint, and the location close to a private beach can't be beat. The property is magical - we saw ibises, herons, iguanas, turtles and some seriously beautiful grasshoppers. We used the free bikes to bike 2 miles down the road to the Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge. Tradewinds beach was never crowded and had plenty of shells. The property is located in a quiet part of the island with little traffic. If I had to find something critical to say, the mattresses leave something to be desired - but that was a small sacrifice for the magic and beauty of this place. We would absolutely stay here again and enthusiastically recommend this place to other travelers!

Better After First Night
When we arrived at the unit there was water in the floor in the guest bathroom. I attributed it to perhaps the shower curtain not being put into the shower. Once we flushed the toilets a couple times we realized it was a plumbing issue and water ended up all over the bathroom floor and into the living area. I had to call the emergency number and luckily they were able to get a plumber out to the unit on a Saturday. Once the issue was fixed, they had the cleaners come back out to get everything cleaned up and provide fresh towels. They also allowed us to use another unit’s bathroom, that was vacant, until the problem was fixed. Overall, Dream Vacation Homes turned what could have been a nightmare weekend around. We love the West End Paradise complex for its location and access/free parking to a private beach. This was our second stay here and even with what happened we would stay there again.

Peaceful location
Loved the location on the “quiet end” of Sanibel with a beautiful beach down the road. Property was clean and comfortable and other than a plumbing problem that was quickly fixed, we had a trouble free stay.
