“Great Value”

Stayed for 3 days on the Labour Day long weekend. Got the room for 3 nights and it included a continental breakfast. I can't say a bad thing about the hotel, and it was hundreds of dollars cheaper than the hotels affiliated with Cedar Point. The reviews for this hotel are better than all of these other Cedar Point hotels, so it was an easy choice. And it is right down the road from Ryan's buffet, which was great with a huge selection of food and great prices. If we go back to Cedar Point, we will definitely be staying at the Sleep Inn again.

Great hotel for the price, fast check-in and clean rooms. TV was outdated but bathroom and beds were clean. Will stay at again!

“Our new place to stay in Sandusky”

We go to Cedar point every year and we've tried a few different hotels in the area. This one is definitely the best so far. Our standard (2 full sz beds)room was equipped with a Mr.coffee 4c pot, iron w/board, blow dryer, optional use safe (extra fee), alarm clock, cable TV and wireless internet. The room itself was very clean and had a good feel to it. The beds were actually bouncy so we had no problems sleeping. (I usually can't sleep due to the wooden slabs most hotels consider beds.) There was an ice machine just down the hall(we were on the 2nd floor) to refill our cooler with and save a stop in the morning. One option we must have for our children (10 and 8)is an indoor pool. Unfortunately, the pool and/or hot tub was so over chlorinated that the fumes burned our eyes after about 15 minutes in the pool room. This is why I only rated a 4 on "condition and maintenance". This very well may have been an isolated incident. The breakfast was great. There were 3 or 4 different kinds of cereal, coffee, tea, cocoa, orange juice, cranberry juice, toast, bagels, cream cheese, jelly, boiled eggs, fruit salad, apples, muffins, danish and a woman making waffles.

Clean rooms, polite staff, comfy beds. About 5 minutes away from Cedar Point. I would definately recommend this to anyone looking for a good quality hotel at a decent price.

We've stayed in a lot of hotels in Sandusky for our annual trips to Cedar Point,and this was by far the best! Staff was extremely friendly (even at 1:30 in the morning!), room was great and really clean, the continental breakfast was huge! We'll definitely stay there from now on, great value!!

“Nice Hotel”

This was a nice, quiet, hotel. We were going to Cedar Point and needed a place to sleep. The room was clean and the buffet breakfast was standard. I would stay here again.

“Very pleasant stay”

I was traveling with my teenage daughter and my teenage niece. The hotel staff was very warm and friendly from check in to checkout. The hotel itself was very clean. The room was a little small but comfortable. The pool and the hot tub were clean and warm and we took full advantage of them. I would definitely come back here. It was a fun stay and we felt very safe and secure with the location. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had all we needed including an upgrade in our room, just because it was available. Thanks again.

“Nice place”

We liked this hotel. Our room was comfortable. There was an indoor pool, but we didn't have time to use it. Breakfast was crowded, and we had to sit on the couches in the lobby. They had cereal, bagles, pre-made waffles,(not make your own from batter) fruit, coffee. My only complaint was that the toaster was really slow and there was a long line for it.

Stayed here with 4 friends in two rooms. The rooms were pretty clean. One room had a bit of an odor but it was not extremely offensive. The beds were excellent they supply 4 pillows per bed. No tub in the room, only a shower. Pool area was decent and it stays open until 11pm. The location is great, very close to everything touristy in the area.
