Good location, right off turnpike.Posted 24-Aug-2013
Pros: We liked the nice, clean appearance of the hotel. The employees were very friendly and helpful as well.
Cons: Even though the bathroom appeared clean it continued to be smelly. The water in shower didn't drain well.
Location: Sandusky. Besides the main attractions there were a lot of really nice museums.
We stayed at the hotel for two nights during the week of August 19, 2013. Our plans were to visit Put in Bay and Kelley's Island. The free hot breakfast was underwhelming. I like anything breakfast and was looking forward to starting my day there. I tried the scrambled eggs. Even though I tried to pick the ones that looked the most cooked they were too runny for me and had an odd taste. I also chose a berry muffin. It also had an odd taste. The orange juice was good as was the coffee. My husband had some sausage and toast. To him, it was barely OK. There were a few danish that were unrecognizable to me (and I know my danish) In the end we decided to have breakfast at one of the local restaurants. The next day we just had the coffee and went on our way.

Excellent overnight stay.Posted 19-Aug-2013
Beds extremely comfortable and room very clean. I was worried because we booked very late for our trip to Cedar Point and there were very few rooms available anywhere. The room was extremely clean the beds were probably the most comfortable of any hotel I ever stayed.

On the ways to Cedar PointPosted 11-Aug-2013
Pros: Only about a 15 minute drive to Cedar Point.
Cons: More low carb options in the complimentary breakfast
Location: Close to Cedar Point, Sandusky Bay, Sandusky Mall, Keys Golf Course, Rain Water Park, and Pipe Creek Wilderness Area.
We just needed somewhere to stay before going to Cedar Point the next day. We have stayed at other Fairfield Inns in the past and have always had a good experience.

Pros: Management was very helpful and courteous, employees very friendly and helpful as well.
Location: Visited Cedarpoint in Ohio, so the hotel was within a reasonable/driving area to Cedarpoint.
Very pleasant and very clean hotel, I haven't had a bad experience with any of the Marriot Fairfield Inn and Suites I have visited.
