Its a Nay for me at this Stay!
I didnt really care for my stay at Stay Inn. For starters, I didnt like their cancellation and refund policy.I get that this is a independent motel, but when someone has to cancel a room by a week or later , it just sounds absurd to me. Most hotels give you at least a 24-48 hour notice. And they apparently don't have telephones in the rooms. Also , the lack of providing a breakfast in another downside. Breakfast is served all ear round and should be considered an amenity. The cleanliness and condition of the rooms was pleasant. And the entrance to getto the main doors is awkward . I wont be staying there again.

The lighting in the room was too dim, no coffee pot, tissues. The reservation said breakfast was included but there was none. They don't serve breakfast when there aren't enough customers. They is a poor excuse because they could at least provide coffee, cereal, breakfast bars or something that doesn't spoil.

They were so friendly and they even let us check in early since we were going to Cedar Point. The room was very clean. Nice white bedding, clean towels soaps. It is not fancy, but way nicer that you might expect for the lower price. The property out side was well maintained. Good lighting in the parking lot and it was an easy drive from there to the park. Deffinately plan to stay here again next year.

Time to clean
My wife and I stay here a few time's a year and we were very disappointed this time due to the dirty floors (carpet) the broken sink faucet handle and noisy neighbors. The next morning we went to get coffee and the cafe was closed. I wouldn't complain but the room didn't even have a coffee maker. Hopefully it's better on our next visit.

the motel is old and out dated. The bathroom floor is sinking. we were in room 105. Our friend was in room 104 and it was also run down.

Oktoberfest
Just 1 night we went to a Oktoberfest at a bar called twin oast. They have it every year in Port Clinton Ohio last year was the first year I stayed at stay in so when it was time to book a room spend the night again first place I thought of a the Stay Inn. The gentleman at the front desk very very polite.

It’s a small place but clean and there is no tobacco smells on the inside. You have to ask for extra towels and to but they are more than willing to accommodate when you do ask.

Pool was fair, but exposed to traffic and passerbys. Overall, unimpressed with industrial adjoining properties, and poor , below grade , quality pretty much everywhere.

The windows were dirty, a lightbulb was missing above the vanity, the tub, drain slowly, the stopper in the bathtub was duct taped, so you couldn’t do anything with it, the air conditioner was noisy. I will not be staying there again.

We absolutely loved staying here. It is very family friendly a long with friendly staff and other people doing their vacations. The pool was very clean. Not much for breakfast and there was some soft spots in our floor. However when we go back to Put in Bay for vacation again we will definitely book our room here❤️ Thank you for a wonderful experience and being so kind.

This place is a dump. there were holes in the ceiling and boogers on the walls. The under sink area was broken and covered with plywood. Im surprised there were no bugs honestly. The staff were strange and whoever cleaned my room stole a pack of cigarettes so dont stay here.
