The original part of The Burton Inn dates to 1865 and features a wood-paneled library with antique leaded glass windows. The hotel offers a Continental breakfast every morning. Parking is free.

The hotel has 12 individually decorated guestrooms with large windows overlooking the gardens, Santa Rosa Creek vistas, or downtown East Village. The bathroom in each suite is adorned with a marble onyx vanity and deep tub. Rooms offer premium bedding, and have microwaves, refrigerators, and coffeemakers. All rooms are non-smoking.

“Very nice stay”
Very nice stay. Who runs this hotel! I never say the owner or manager. However everything was perfect.
“Perfect beach escape”
What a find! My husband and I went to Cambria for a relaxing getaway and this place was perfect. Its a small hotel so it was really quiet unlike the large chain hotels where you can hear everyone above, below, and next to you. The rooms were huge and have a separate closed off sitting area with a TV and Kitchenette so we were able to bring our own breakfast stuff. The hotel does serve a breakfast but is an additional charge if you don't book it directly through the hotel, but that was clearly stated before we booked the room. The room was comfortable and clean and had a huge soaking tub. I stopped by exotic nature on main street and got some herbal bubble bath and had the best bath ever. We had plenty of towels and extra blankets and the kitchenette came stocked with dishes for 2. Wi-fi was free and there was plenty of parking. Right off of main street so we were walking distance to all the restaurants and stores and just a couple miles from the beach. Perfect.... will be going back for sure on our next trip to cambria.
“Pleasant place to stay”
My husband and I stayed at the Burton Inn on a short weekend visit to Cambria. The inn is within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants in the East Village and each room is actually a spacious suite. Our room was clean and nicely decorated, and the bed was extremely comfortable as well.
“I WILL BE BACK!!”
Start your morning with a judiciously prepared continental breakfast which changes daily and includes fresh OJ and lots of hot coffee to get you going. Start your evenings with a gathering of fellow travelers and the Inn's proprieter(who is a great hostess) and enjoy a sampling of local wines from surrounding vineyards. Enjoy light conversations of the days events and exchange ideas for local fare. It was my first visit to Cambria and my very relaxing stay at Burton's Inn with it's hospitality will have me coming back again and again and I cannot stop telling my co-workers about it!! I only wish that check-in time were a little earlier than 3:00 pm.

We enjoyed our stay vet much. We were very comfortable and the staff were friendly. The room was clean and view just fabulous.
“A pleasant surprise”
Although this B&B had good reviews, I didn't have any special expectations - I was just looking for a place to stay over night while driving from San Francisco to LA. I got there pretty late but it was not a problem for the owner who even gave me an upgrade for the room! The suite turned out to be huge and very well equipped and I'd even say - luxurious. The breakfast was hearty and varied. Cambria turned out to be very pleasant and nice itself. The hotel is located on the main street and it is very close to local shops and restaurants. It was a great value for the money and one of the most pleasant surprises of my journey.
“Visit Hearst Castle - Stay Here”
Very clean well run Bed and Breakfast in a charming town within minutes of Hearst castle and Moonstone Beach. We had a very roomy suite with all necessary amenities. Multiple dining options can be walked to from the Inn. Friendly place for a family or just a couple.

The burton inn was more than I expected. the rooms were very large and the bed was beautiful. The staff was knowledgable and friendly. I would definitely go back, in fact I booked another reservation for October. It was a dream.

“The trip to beautiful”
I've been to the Burton Inn before and that's why we returned this year. We got the Asian themed room which was very dramatic. Nice comfy room, black marble bathroom, nice dvd/vhs movie collection. Minuses: Frayed pillow shams and just adequate continental breakfast (even on the weekends when they used to cook eggs or pancakes to order).
