“"Wow"”
Very quaint, quiet and relaxing. The room and hotel grounds are impeccably maintained, and the inn is just a stones throw away from one of the most beautiful stretches of beach in California. The office staff was friendly, and knowledgable of the area. The continental breakfast is take-out and hosted in a very small portion of a very small registration office, but don't let that discourage you from partaking in the morning feast! There is more than enough to go around, and the variety of the food as well as the taste of the pastries more than makes up for the tight quarters. It is a great couples retreat, and I am sure you will enjoy your stay as much as we did.
“Loved My Stay at the Sea Otter”
The Sea Otter looked nice on the internet, but was even better than I expected. The room was clean, decorated nicely and smelled fresh. The flowers just outside the room were beautiful, and the proximity to the ocean was awesome. We went to the office a half dozen times and the staff were always helpful. Don't expect eggs and bacon for breakfast, it's continental, but they provide more than danishes. I was pleased with a selection of fruit, cereal, juice, coffee, hard boiled eggs and some sweets. My only complaint was that the beds were a little on the hard side and there was a bit of a knocking sound whenever one of our neighbors took a shower. Other than that, I thought it was great and I would stay there again.

Will go back and recommend it to my friends. Also, great continental breakfast.
“The perfect place to relax”
I had such a great time here - room was extremely comfortable and very cute. The inn itself is quiet and quaint; my friend and I took advantage of the heated pool and jacuzzi. Continental breakfast was yummy. Perfect location, and can't say enough about the friendly staff and great service I received.
“Fine Hotel in a Great Location”
Sea Otter Inn is at a great location on the beach in Cambria. The beach is more for viewing the coast rather than swimming but has a great natural boardwalk (of the nature walk type). Hotel is pleasant, room was very nice, with an unusual secluded private porch (no view but charming). Hotel provided free videos and a nice continental breakfast (pleasant meal on the porch). Staff was very friendly. Cambria is a pleasant somewhat artsy small beach town. Try it, we were pleasantly surprised.

Comfortable,clean, excellent furnishings. One minute walk to the sea.Continental breakfast included.Highly recommended.Worth taking the short drive into the town of Cambria. Small friendly town with a number of restaurants
“Coastal Seaside Retreat”
The Sea Otter inn was a wonderful destination and experience, after a long day of driving, as we were met with a friendly staff, comfortable room, beautiful gardens, relaxing spa and breath taking ocean views of the Central Coast.
“Very Nice, Very Clean. My 89 yr old mum was throughly delighted and impressed.”
Good rate, if you consider that they provide a continental breakfast.
“Sea Otter Inn - We Will Return Again!”
We fell in love with the gardens that surrounded our room! They were full of hummingbirds, color, and care! You are close to the ocean and the paths - and you can actually spot sea otters. Traveling to Hearst Castle is very easy - and 4 miles north of Hearst Castle you can see the elephant seals! What a beautiful part of the country! Our room was clean, inviting - and very nice. We will return again next year!
