“Good Hotel for a Great Price”
Don't let the outside appearance fool you- this hotel was remodeled inside. Our room had some open, empty space but was furnished with nice dark wood furniture. The bathroom was small, but was nicely remodeled as well. Overall, this was a good hotel, and you can't beat the price! Plus it's only minuters from Cambria.
“A great surprise”
We stayed in San Simeon for one single night during our Pacific coast highway tour. We were surprised about the comfort, cleanliness and size of the rooms and we think the price is nearly unbeatable. You have even ocean view in our room Plenty of complimentary parking as well as wireless internet for free. Breakfast is included but do not expect too much. Hearst Castle is not far away and I would definitely recommend to stay here if you plan a trip to the castle or if you are checking out the pacific coast highway. I hope we will have the chance to come back to this area and we definitely consider again a stay in Sea Breeze Inn. Don't miss to drive to Point Piedras Blancas . (Just drive up Route 1-North, near Hearst Castle) Hundreds of sea elephants are on the beach. It is approximately 10 minutes from the Hotel. It is amazing!!!
“Hurst Castle Trip Hotel”
I would call this a motel rather than a hotel. I don't think people would use this as a base of operation for an extended period. It is perfect as a place to sleep when you are going to Hurst Castle, which is 3 miles down the road. The staff was friendly and responded to requests quickly. The rooms all face the coast. If you are looking for a place to sleep on your way to/from Hurst Castle, I recommend this hotel.
“Definitely would come back”
We loved the room we had. Spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and the beddings looked luxurios.
“A diamond in the rough”
Very clean and the room was recently remodeled. Don't let the modest exterior and simple lobby fool you. We had a large refrigerator, microwave, breakfast, an ocean view, and nice beds. It was very quiet. The only criticism would be the room had a smell even though it was the cleanest place I ever stayed. It might have been from a non-traditional cleaner. Open a window or take some Febreeze, it is a good value. I don't swim but the pool didn't look very inviting. The room was so comfortable and the location was so great those other things didn't matter.

I've stayed here 3 times already because of price and location.
“Surprisingly nice”
The location is very good for travelers who are going to the Hearst Castle, which is three miles down the road. The hotel is in a small cluster of hotels and restaurants that no doubt exist to service travelers to that venue. We didn't expect a lot when we drove up, but were very pleasantly surprised at the
“Very pleasant experience”
Room and location were very nice. Location was especially quiet which was very important to me. Convenient to Hearst Castle and at least two good restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.
“Cant beat the price”
It was short walking distance to the beach and that in itself made the stay awesome. Had a few choice restaraunts surrounding. Ate at the caviler and it was yummy. Close trip south to Cambria. Me and my boyfriend would recomend to stay here.
“Great stay!”
We stayed at the Sea Breeze Inn for one night before going to the Hearst Castle. The reception clerk was extremely accommodating - we had prepaid for a room with a king bed through Expedia, but all of those rooms were on the second floor. My husband had pulled his back out, and they willingly gave us a double queen room on the first floor instead. The continental breakfast was adequate, and it was pleasant eating it while sitting on the hotel terrace near the sea. We would highly recommend this hotel, and will gladly stay again if we are in the area.
