“Peaceful Retreat”

It was a last minute getaway. Although we got in very late (11 pm), the night clerk was very nice and offered to open the indoor pool, just for us! The employees in general were VERY attentive. Since the Hotel was relatively empty, they allowed us to park by the main building instead of further away in the designated guest area. We came and went at all hours during our stay and the front desk was always attended to by pleasant staff. Both day and nighttime views are spectacular. The eco-turistic aspect is great. Perfect for disconnecting from a hectic lifestyle. Very family friendly if you want to get the kids away from the TV, PC and Dsi. It has a rustic yet intimate atmosphere. The town of San Sebastian is beautiful with many cultural and natural attractions. It is also close to many coastal towns with beautiful beaches. We were a little disappointed with the maid service. We slept in and when we got back in the afternoon the room had not been cleaned, towels changed or the bed made. When we questioned the front desk we were informed that the maid service consisted of ONE employee who only worked 4 hrs. in the mornings. The front desk employees apologized, replaced our towels and took out our trash. I blame the hotel administration for cutting corners during low season. In all, we enjoyed our stay and considered it a great deal for the cost. We received free continental breakfast and a beer/cocktail from the hotel bar with our package. Would gladly go back and recommend.

“Good if you want a quite place and fresh air”

For a quite neighborhood, mountain look, fresh air. but everything is far away, TV channels are a few. Unless you are going to spend two to three days there. You could hear other people from the room, and alsa the swimming pool. Place is beautiful with an expectacular view.

“Great to visit, not to stay”

Land and facilities are great for a retreat far from the city. Views and natures are simply awesome. Overall the service at the front desks and restaurants, including food quaitly are great. However the Hotel offer you quiet and relaxing time, even rules where there must be silence after 11pm but they had a Wedding and a Sweet 16 party. We had a lot of issues getting in and out of our room on Saturday night because of the coctails tables being in front of our bedroom. I would say it is great to visit, but needs improvement as a place to stay.

ok! Needs improvement! The land is beautiful and the surroundings even the hotel but rooms need to be aired out!
