"Centrally located spacious apartment "
Near San Marco/Rialto, Residence Grimani's staff helped when needed. The space is large, overlooking the canal so you hear gondoliers serenading theiir clients. there is a 50 Euro charge if you cook; we did not and had not intended to do so. we would stay here again.

" Perfect!"
Great location between Rialto and St. Marks, but in a relatively quiet courtyard. Fantastic staff who went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Best breakfast I have ever eaten (and beautiful too!) We loved our stay and would absolutely stay there again.

Great location for our first time in Venice. Room was comfortable and well-kept, with a balcony and lovely view. The rooftop terrace was a quiet, relaxing place to be. The breakfast buffet had something for everyone. We had dinner at La Caravella and it was absolutely wonderful.

"Amazing location! Amazing!"
The saying goes you get what you pay for but we got an absolute bargain considering the location of this place. Steps away from the Rialto Bridge so the fab staff and cleanliness were a bonus! It was somewhere for us to get our heads down each night which is basically all we need when visiting a place like Venice because we are out sight seeing from morning til night. Due to the prime location though we did call back to the hotel a few times through out the days for coats etc when it got cooler.

"Amazing, feel like royalty"
The hotel is located right in the center of everything. 5 minutes walk to st. Marco square. The hotel itself was amazing. We loved the style and how much space we got for the money we paid! The only concern might be for light sleepers since there is a restaurant right underneath you can hear every sound until about midnight. Just bring earplugs and you'll be fine. We really loved everything. Thank you making us feel at home and giving us royal treatment!

"Attractive hotel near to most sites"
Room was ok but rather dark as shutters and windows had to be kept closed because of mosquitoes and I didn't find the air conditioning was always effective. room was reasonable size and was very clean. The quality of towels and soaps in bathroom was good. Breakfasts were excellent: plentiful and tasty! Overall an enjoyable visit.

Pocket Guide: San Marco, Venice Family Hotels

San Marco (St Mark’s) is quintessential visitors’ Venice. The Piazza San Marco, famous for its pigeons, campanile, basilica, Palazzo Ducale (Doge’s Palace) and expensive cafes, is unmissable. The waterfront views are legendary and more gondolas depart from here than anywhere else in the city. In season the Piazza teems with day trippers though just a block or two away streets are quiet and offer more museums and palaces to explore.
