Everything Seemed fine until.....

Posted 13-Jul-2015
Pros: The only thing that was good was the location.
Cons: THE cleanliness and the owners customer service skills, no apologies, no remorse, in fact blammed the roach on us, said we left our door open?????
Location: SLO is a great place to go, lots to do, Morro Bay, Downtown SLO, Los Osos, Avila Beach
The place LOOKED decent upon arrival, the young guy that worked there was accommodating, he let us see the room first, it all looked clean enough for a one night stay. The bed was decent enough looked like a new bed and mural on the wall with new paint. But the next morning while getting packed up there was a roach that crawled out from under the sheets IN THE BED. Disgusting!!!! We went to the owner Amul Soni, and he would not do anything, he said that since we paid for our room through expedia he could not do anything except give us a 10% discount on our NEXT stay. Like we are going back, I DON'T THINK SO. Expedia, again was great as always and gave us a nice credit towards another stay SOMEWHERE ELSE. Thank you Expedia for standing behind us.

Nice, comfortable Hotel

Posted 26-Jun-2015
Stayed for one night with my parents (separate rooms). One of the sets of keys we were given initially was for the wrong room, but that was quickly sorted out. Comfortable beds and decent sized towels. Choice of cereals, toast, tea, coffee, juice and waffles for breakfast.

Good Value

A good place to stay on a budget. Better condition than expected. I was hoping for a spa but can't complain.

All good

Totally adequate hotel room that was not too expensive. It's nothing fancy, but nothing bad either. Front office manager was friendly and helpful, room was clean albeit a bit outdated. My one complaint is the loud noises the mini-fridge made. Woke me up in the middle of the night!

Mycket prisvärt hotell

Posted 21-Apr-2015 on Hotels

Nice hotel close to Downtown SLO.

Posted 15-Apr-2015
Pros: It's location to downtown and the Apple Farm.
Cons: The air conditioner in our room was a bit noisy. Other than that the room was nice.
Location: SLO has many activities to participate in. We love Farmers Market on Thursday nights. The climb up Madonna Mountain is difficult but an amazing view.
We had a wonderful time in SLO and were able to experience the attractions for a reasonable cost. The Farmers Market on Thursday night was great. Climbing Madonna mountain and walking around Laguna Lake was fun. The access to the local wineries was a great draw to SLO. We brought the bikes and had fun biking into Downtown (but we were really close enough to walk). Everything is within a 2 mile radius in SLO. It's a very accessble town.

Super 8 SLO

Walls were thin; could hear the TVs in both adjoining rooms. No noise from the road, but plenty from the parking lot & hallway. Very strange layout; the mini-fridge & microwave were in a separate closet. The fridge was so loud, had to shut the door to contain it. Left something in the fridge & realized it when I was on the freeway. Called about 15 mins after checking out, and Housekeeping had it waiting in the lobby by the time I came back. Basic room, clean, nothing fancy, just what we needed. The young man at check in was very nice & helpful.
