“OK But Nicer Parts of Santa Maria Biz 101 Must Surely Exist”

This was a comfortable enuf one night stand, and the management in and out was fine. Have never stayed in Santa Maria before, but this part of business 101 seems a bit seedy, as was the initial appearance of the motel. Still, the room was clean enuf (the carpeting old and somewhat dirty). Can't say that I'd stay at this motel again. Nice Japanese restaurant, Atari-ya, nearby -- didn't expect to find that in Santa Maria.

“It was adequate”

Not real pretty or modern. But clean enough and convenient location. Parking right in front of our door.

“Laura Lodge Less”

I suggest you avoid Laura Lodge due the uncaring staff and filthy room maintenance.
