“A beautiful stay!”
We were quite pleased with our accomodations, especially after some of the mixed reviews. The new decor was lovely, as were the grounds and views. We'll definitely be back!
“More than a hotel - an experience in local color”
Was nicely surprised to find this hotel - such a beautiful location, very quiet, loved the fireplace in my room as well as frig and coffee. Right on the ocean, nice pool, bird nesting area nearby with lots of wildlife around. Many local shops and restaurants nearby to explore. I will most certainly return.
“Can't wait to go back!”
Loved out stay here! The wildlife, the feeling of being in the middle of a forest, THE VIEW! Great rate for such a nice room. We will be back!
“Comfortable hotel, will stay there again”
It was a great experience. The hotel is well maintain with flowers and plants outside. The price is reasonable, It's worth it.
“Inn At Morro Bay - a winner!”
The hotel is adjacent to a State Park full of birds. Wonderful sounds and sights. The Inn is on Morro Bay and the setting could not be better.
“Best in Morro Bay”
Really great stay. I looked around at other hotels in the area for quite a while. This was right on the water, warm pool, clean, remodeled room. Had an awesome walk along the bird preserve next to the hotel. Breakfast buffet is a great deal. Overall we will for sure go to this place again.
“Enjoyed our stay.....”
The hotel itself is very comfortable and had all the standard amenities. We didn't try the restaurant or the lounge. I looked at the menu and if our budget would've allowed it, we would have eaten there. No breakfast is served except for a Sunday Brunch. Other reviewers were correct in saying that the walls are very VERY thin. Luckily, our neighbors were quiet. We did hear them stirring and the toilets flushing and water running quite well though. Linens, pillows and bed were very comfortable. We booked on a night there was a wedding held on the property. We got there very late and there were still several drunk wedding guests who were also hotel guests. Some of them were still outside and quite loud. I don't know if there were any complaints, but they eventually quieted down. The hotel is in a beautiful and out-of-the-way but still convenient-to-town location and sits next to a cormorant (local birds) breeding ground. The staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds and buildings are very well-maintained. We would recommend this hotel as long as you aren't sensitive to noise due to the thin walls.
“Wonderful comfortable room for a good price.”
Being in a garden like area to just sit in and enjoy. Being next to the bird sanctionary was in walking distance and could enjoy all the bird watching from the Inn. If I played golf, the golf course was right there and looked like the golfers were having a great time. We saw deer, racoon, wild turkeys and peacocks. We have recommened the Inn to all our friends!
“A great stay”
The Hotel Is in a very quiet area just 1 mile away from downtown Morro Bay. The hotel itself is a little older but thats part of the charm. The walls are a little thin but if you get an end unit with no neighbors next door its all good. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room has a small fridge but a microwave would be nice. And yes, we would stay there again.
“Cozy place in a way to Hearst Castle”
Clean, cozy hotel in the park with access to the bay.
