The room was very nice and the bed was really comfortable, had to pay a 20 dollar nonrefundable pet deposit but it was well worth it

I have stayed here before and it is a solid choice. The room was clean, everything worked and Wi-Fi is acceptable. Some noise from the hiway but a comfort choice for the money

Nice place with a nice view
Overall the place was ok. I would say good because the service was excellent, but there is no noice ordinace and people were walk around and talking at 2 am like it was 2pm... Kept us all up

Pleasantly surprised!
I was nervous about staying at this motel after reading so many negative reviews, but I gave it a chance because the price was right. The room was clean, comfortable, and well though-out with little notes to guide you on tricky details. Both the staff we talked to were friendly and attentive and clearly cared about their guests. The location was excellent, within easy walking distance of the beach and the grocery store and a tasty Mexican restaurant next door. Our only complaint was the nighttime noise from other guests. I was fine with earplugs, but my partner struggled into the early morning without them. We will come again!

Pleasant stay
When I pulled up to the hotel I was not happy. The hotel was not at all what I thought it would be. Once I checked in I thought differently. The owners were very nice and helpful. The room looked better than expected. There was nice tile in the bathroom, nice sink counters and the bed was comfortable. It was pleasant. I felt okay about staying there. However, in the middle if the night I got up to use the bathroom and there was a roach running across the floor.

Good Place to Stay
The Holland Inn and Suites was a clean and comfortable place to stay. There were a few little things that weren't perfect, such as the thermostat being broken, but for the price it was a good deal.

Staff interaction was short and sweet. Check-in staff was nice. However, room exuded a distinct foul & moldy smell and when I used the bathroom sink, I found out why… sink water started to drain onto floor from piping. I didn’t dare to open the sink cabinet as it probably would not be good. By that time I was exhausted from my 3 hr drive so I didn’t bother to complain. Not staying here again.. but you get what you pay for.

Property is older but not in bad condition. The mattresses need to be replaced. Big craters and very noisy as you move positions. Unfortunately there was other occupants that were smoking weed on the property it seemed like constantly so we could not have our windows or doors open to enjoy the ocean breeze.

First off I have a service animal and was given the 3rd degree on what her services are & if her service helps! None of their business she’s licensed and we have the documents go prove. We get to our room and bathroom was very old extremely outdated and bathroom was dirty! There was a fan in the room but out of fear if getting an airborne disease we did not turn it on. I would not recommend or will ever stay there again.

For an older property, the upgrades that have been done are appreciated -- new bathtub and comfortable bed. Also appreciated the refrig/freezer and microwave. My room was not air conditioned (or it was not working)--fortunately, the ceiling fan and open window kept the temp comfortable.

Our two beds are separated in two rooms. One of which is a suite. I like the convenience of the fridge and microwave provided. The rooms and bathroom are updated. I like the custom shower stall but the faucet is at full strength when I turn it to the hottest position. The water flow will drop when I turn it to the cold water direction. Some guests talked loudly before dusk but it’s not the hotel’s fault. It’s people’s lack of courtesy. I enjoyed the highly rated Mexican seafood restaurant next door. I also walked to the grocery store to buy some fresh fruit.

This hotel did not have air conditioning in ANY ROOMS! I didn’t think that would be a concern when I booked. There was a ceiling fan that didn’t work. The person working there offered us a room north of this hotel, which had air conditioning. The Holland Inn and Suites should not be listed on Orbitz

My fave places to stay in Morro Bay were all booked out, so I booked this one. I wasn't expecting it to be super great, but ... hmm, some things bugged me. It's quite far from where you'd wanna be in Morro Bay, there were people talking loudly and smoking cigarettes right outside my door, there were full ashtrays sitting right on the doorstep, kinda gross if you're not a smoker. The parking lot didn't feel very safe. The room was OK, but as per normal with motels these days, only the bare minimum was provided, i e about 3 tissues left in the tissue box, one single paper cup, you know the drill. It was a place to lay my head and not much else.

Good location to beaches, store next door. Place was cute and staff friendly. Not as clean as I prefer and quite noisy (beds squeak with any movement, walls paper thin and lots of activity in parking lot in pm hours) but it provided a resting place when needed.

The place has been remodeled wince the last time we stood which was a quite a while back. Thank good because he first time we did stay there back then we got no sleep because it was not comfortable at all. And I mean that LITERALLY.

Andy was friendly, the place was very clean. Simple, but perfect. The price was reasonable too. I definitely recommend. It's not far from Morro rock either. I will be coming back in the fall, and this will be the place where I will stay.
