It's location is unique. However, they don't serve breakfast until 7.30 which is not consistent with my experience of other chain, offering breakfast: Holiday inn and Hampton Court by example only has coffee out for those who need to leave early. Open 5.30 or 6 am. I asked for yogurt, muffin to take with me for my early birding trip the night before and that wasn't accommodated ...The hotel changed hands and changed the routine of this BW. A pity really.

We had many issues with this hotel. I contacted Orbitz in advance to cancel the reservation a few days prior to arrival. Orbotz told us to call the hotel directly as they are independently owned and operated. We tried to call them for a period of 12 hours but just rang, no voicemail. Orbitz tried to call too with no response. We decided to follow through with reservation. Upon our arrival, the hotel is basically a motel, very small. The communal breakfast areawas extremely small ftting 3 tables. The water machine was broken. Our room was very dusty and musty There were customers smoking on the balcony and downstairs so i couldnt keep windows opened. When i tried to see if we could leave a day early (2 days in advance), the lady told me to speak to the manager the next day. When i spoke to her, she told me only Orbitz can modify it, which was opposite of what Orbitz said. Apparently they are independently owned and operated, and we as customers had no protection from Orbitz or Best Western. The manager would not bend on releasing us a day early without paying in full. Then even though i checked out a day early i got charged full price. And an additional $116 for reasons undisclosed to me until i got home. If they really have no control of payment, then how can they charge my card more? I found this shady business practices and poor management. I also am pissed i have no protection from Orbitz or Best Western. I definitely do not recommend

The hotel was in a good location, easy access. It was quite dusty and we had to ask for it to be cleaned. Manager said they had a new cleaner. Otherwise it was fine. Our room was very bright at night, the shutters look nice but don’t really shut out the street lights and signs. Some blackout curtains would be a bonus. I had to use a sleep mask to sleep. Very quiet though, no room noise.

Did not receive the room that I reserved. Staff acknowledged that I booked a king, but would not change my room. Many state-owned diesel pickup trucks in the parking lot that started up and idled early in the morning.

Perfectly fine and exactly what we expected
This is a beach hotel. It is not the Ritz Carlton. There is no spa. It is a very satisfactory beach hotel. The rooms are a little dated, but it was clean. Our air conditioner was a little noisy which did not bother us in the least, but may annoy others. The staff was fantastic. I interacted with Garrett and several others. All very kind and helpful. The location is excellent. Both mornings I walked to down to the pier, about 3 minutes away, and watched the otters and birds. A longer walk, but still close was the beach north of Morro rock. Lot's of people and surfers. We did not partake in the breakfast, except for coffee, but it looked like there were reasonable choices for eggs, sausage, pancakes, muffins and cereal.

Very clean, smalls good when you enter the room,super friendly staff, best choices for continental breakfast I have ever had. Awesome motel! They definitely earned a repeat customer here.

Nice stay
Mother daughter trip to get out of the triple digit heat in Bakersfield. We very much enjoyed our stay. Check in was easy and staff member Garrett was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. However, the bathroom was a bit small, and shower head needs updating as the water came out as a spray. Could probably use new pillows too. But otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and will stay there our next visit. It is super close to food/shops/Morro rock/beach.
