“Old but clean”

For this kind of money I could live with the cracked - but clean - bathtub and the old furniture. The only thing that even the cheap price does not excuse is the reek of cigarette smoke in the room - and they do make the distinction when booking. Overall a convenient,cheap one-night stop close to CalTrain.

“Noisy and unclean”

Being waked up at midnight because of the loud talking outside. Utilities were noisy.
