The Hotel Aria was built in 2000 right in the heart of Santa Clara County...the city of Mountain View. The city itself is named for its views of the Santa Cruz Mountains and shares its borders with the cities of Palo Alto, Los Altos, Sunnyvale and the San Francisco Bay. Situated in the globally known, Silicon Valley, Mountain View is the main headquarters and home to many high technology companies. Today many of the largest technology companies in the world like the Mozilla Foundation, Google, Symantec and Intuit are headquartered in Mountain View.
The climate here is Mediterranean where summers are warm and dry, while winters are mild and wet. The Hotel Aria is unique in that it has 98 rooms and offers different room types to accommodate a wide range of budgets and tastes. From standard rooms with single beds to mini-suites where the living room is separated from the bedroom...to the more spacious of our rooms fit for a VIP, the King Deluxe Suites. These suites offer a separated living room from the bedroom and the convenience of additional spaciousness.
Upon entering any one of the rooms you will find a work desk equipped with a table lamp that has a conveniently located outlet at its base; a two-line phone with voice mail capabilities; a data port, and a comfortable work chair to sit in during those late nights while reading work documents or perhaps enjoying a good book. Our variety of room types sets us apart from many other hotels because we are then able to accommodate a variety of tastes and needs.
There are snack machines and soft drink machines, a coin-operated washer and dryer, a fitness room that is equipped with one elliptical and two treadmills...a weight scale and television. There is a grassy area in the center of the property which surrounds the outdoor swimming pool and hot tub. When the weather is sunny and warm, guests are invited and encouraged to enjoy their morning breakfast in the patio area where there are small bistro tables with seating for three. Indoors we have additional tables and chairs as well as a television to watch the news, this is our breakfast area and is much enjoyed not only during breakfast hours which are 6am to 9:30am, but it is often used throughout the day for those wanting to continue their work outside of their rooms....this area has wifi and is available for use 24/7 for our guests to do their work. In addition there is hot coffee available 24/7 as well.
Parking is easy to find and plentiful but most importantly there is no charge! Within a short walking distance, you will find a wide variety of places to eat...you will find Chinese, Thai, Greek, Vegetarian, Italian, and burger joints just a block and a half away. If you prefer to have fresh foods there is a Sprouts, Whole Foods and Trader Joes to go to or the neighborhood Safeway as well. Whether you are here on business travel or at leisure...The Hotel Aria awaits your arrival.
