“Great hotel”

The service was outstanding from everyone we met. Everyone also looked liked they enjoyed their work and did it for the right reasons. The only thing that could be improved is to provide some things as part of the room fee. For instance, the newspaper should be available as part of the fee and guests should be allowed to have a small refrigerator in the room, at no cost, to keep dinner leftovers in.

This was my first time staying at the Fairmont. The service at the hotel was fantastic. The rooms were clean and spacious. The public areas are really comfortable but most importantly the location is fantastic as you are right in the heart of downtown San Jose there are plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes within walking distance.

“Fairmont in San Jose is a wonderful hotel.”

This is a great hotel, and we have traveled quite a bit.Clean, attractive, comfortable. There was a bakery just outside the door serving wonderful pastry etc. My son's family and my wife and I both had a relaxing long weekend at the Fairmont in San Jose. I have already sent a business associate from Texas there, and will send many other friends in the future.

“Nice place...a little dated”

The room was nice, however there was a lighting fixture next to the bed that had been removed. The holes in the walls were the evidence.

We were pleasantly surprised to be moved to a room with two beds,which is what we wanted, even though we reserved a king room, all that was available at the price We also received an upgrade to a deluxe room for no additional charge. The desk clerk was very helpful, the parking valet efficient and the bell hop brought our bags promptly. Very quiet room, beds super comfortable, bath was huge w/walk in shower and a bath tub. Would stay again.
