Too far from convention centerPosted 31-Mar-2014
I never made it to this hotel because it was too far from the convention center. I ended up booking a room for full price and still had to pay for this non-refundable room.

The hotel lobby and staff are nicePosted 25-Mar-2014
The room it self was not well ventalated. It also didn't feel clean. It was also loud you could hear the person next door using the restroom. Everything had a nice aperance and the staff was nice and friendly.
Good location but horrible staffPosted 25-Mar-2014
At 1am there were people in the hall yelling, the cops arrived and were dealing with the situation until 3am. When I asked for a late check-out they told me no, even though they were not able to handle the chaos until 3:30am. I parked my car in valley, BIG MISTAKE!! It took an hour for me to get my car.
I want to apologize for your experience. We do not screen our guests and sometimes we have guests that dont respect the others and end up being noisy and we end up evicting such guests. the main reason we couldnt extend your room was that we were sold out and we need every room by 4 pm for the people checking in as we had a big conference the next day. I hope you would give usa nother chance.

Business TripPosted 21-Mar-2014
Location: I was there for a business meeting - the hotel was close to the airport and right downtown.
I received a very warm welcome from the time I drove up for valet parking until I checked out the next morning. The staff was very accomodating and it was clear they wanted my stay to be pleasant.

Power in my room was out from 1am to 4amPosted 16-Mar-2014
Everything about my stay was fine, but once I checked in I was told that the power in y room would be out from 1am to 5am. No offer of discount or another room. Too tired after driving and schlepping, didn't protest. Wish I had. Was still up watching TV when the power went out, just decided to go to bed. Was awakened at 4am when lights came on. Though I was notified, this still kind of sucked. Also, not sure of the reason for the power outtage. Seems maybe they're trying to save money? If so, there are better ways. Not cool.
i apologize for your experience. We communicate dby email and also through hand out sat check in . We offered to move to nearby hotels. power outage was from 1 to 3 am. All our emergency lighting with generator was in place and guest waere provided with fashlights. We will continue to advise our customers with routine repairs or maintainence.

Great place to stay!!Posted 16-Mar-2014
There were only 2 things I found were less than what I expected: #1, they allowed children (kids under the age of 16) to hang out in their bar around 10pm. We had just gotten back from.the Sharks game, hoping to settle down in their bar and have some drinks but were utterly put off by the screaming, dancing children and their parents in the bar. There was a cheer competition that was ending that weekend, but I find it highly unprofessional to alloe children in a bar screaming, dancing and singing. #2 the hotel entrance for cars is compact and hard to spot if you dont know what you are looking for. I opted for Valet rather than bother with self parking, which I found was worth it. All the staff were friendly. We booked for one night, Sharks game weekend. Room was great, staff was friendly. The Valet service was nice as well. I would have given 5 stars if not for the children in the bar. This put both of us off and we ended up at Gordon Bierchs down the street some, which we did not regret at all.

Nice hotel close to San Jose Convention CenterPosted 14-Mar-2014
Pros: Cleanliness, nice condition
Cons: Please, please, please offer cheaper Internet. To pay $12.95 for crappy, slow internet in this day and age is ridiculous.
Location: Santana Row is very nice and is about a 10 minute car ride away. Tons of shopping and nice restaurants. The area was beautiful.
Nice hotel stay. The hotel is connected to the San Jose Convention Center, which made it very convenient since I was attending a conference there. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The pool area was nice, albeit a little small. The fitness room was great, too. Had everything you need to get a good workout in.

Centrally located to downtown venuesPosted 5-Mar-2014
Pros: It was close to restaurants, clubs, museums, etc.
The staff was most accommodating when I found that I would need a room with a sofabed. They put me in an "accessible" suite which turn out to be quite spacious and just perfect for the additional person.

Perfect for convention center eventsPosted 5-Mar-2014
Great hotel to spend the night after the "El Mexicano Presenta" events, good to party. Probably not a good option if you want a quiet stay
